What should I pay attention to when learning yoga by myself?

Nowadays, many people do various kinds of sports, such as running, swimming, and clubbing, and restrict their diet to have a slim figure, but more people still choose yoga. They say that yoga can not only help lose weight, but also improve people's quality. However, it is still very difficult for some beginners and self-taught learners. If they are not careful, they may tear their muscles and cause unnecessary injuries.

There are no special rules for the diet of a pair of autodidacts. You can fill half of your stomach with food, a quarter with water, and keep the remaining quarter empty. That is, don't eat too much to avoid feeling heavy and lazy. Do not eat within one hour before or after practicing yoga, and try to avoid practicing within two hours after a meal; What should you pay attention to when learning yoga by yourself

2. Do what you are able to do, don’t try to force yourself, move slowly, don’t use force suddenly, and don’t deliberately pursue “standards”. When you stretch as far as you can, you're doing it right. Warming up is important. Don't do difficult movements at the beginning to avoid sports injuries. It is best to do some yoga warm-up exercises first. Before starting exercise, you can walk for 5 minutes or climb stairs to fully exercise your whole body. Take it step by step to avoid shocking your body. Try to relax as much as possible during the exercise, and allow a little soreness in the body, but do not overexert yourself or force the movements;

3. It is not advisable to practice difficult movements six months after surgery and during the menstrual period of women. Patients with hypertension, asthma and pregnant women should only do simple movements; it is better to go barefoot and wear loose and comfortable clothes so that the body can move freely. It is not advisable to practice on a hard floor or a too soft bed. A mat should be laid on the ground when practicing. If you feel exhausted or have cramps when maintaining a certain posture, you should stop the exercise immediately and massage it.

Although practicing yoga can help you maintain a slim figure and improve your temperament, self-taught learners are advised to be more careful, not to practice blindly, and not to be too anxious. You should practice with a calm mind and never rush into it, which will cause unnecessary harm to your body and affect your normal life, study and work.
