What kind of exercise is good for your skin?

Exercise is very beneficial to the human body. It is also beneficial to the largest organ of the human body, the skin. However, in fact, sweating during exercise, which is beneficial to the skin, will make you more prone to acne. Although some organs, muscles and bones in the body can benefit from exercise, they can also speed up the metabolism of the skin. So what kind of exercise is better for human skin?

Another benefit of exercise: sweating. Sweat is water with small amounts of ammonia, urea, salts and sugars. When you sweat, this impurity comes out of your skin. But will this make some people more likely to get acne? Experts at Children's Hospital of Colorado (CHC) say that sweating is helpful to the skin and does not cause any harm. Sweating itself does not cause acne; however, the results of exercise may benefit acne sufferers because of increased blood flow, unclogging of pores through sweating, and reduced stress.

To maintain your overall skin health while out and about, you'll want to avoid doing anything that could aggravate existing skin problems or cause allergies. Avoid wearing rough clothing that can rub against your skin. If you wear a helmet, hat, sunglasses or other protective equipment, clean them frequently to prevent dust and oil from transferring to your skin.

While exercising, you should avoid touching your face to prevent dirt and clogged pores. Be especially careful when you work out; touching your face can transfer oils and bacteria (in a moist, humid environment like a gym) onto your skin, potentially leading to an acne flare-up. If you need to wipe sweat, wipe your skin with a clean, dry towel and avoid rubbing your face vigorously with your hands or with your shirt or towel.

For those with long hair, pull your hair back and keep your hair and bangs away from your face to prevent extra dirt and oil from clogging your pores. Plus, if your hair often gets in the way, a ponytail prevents you from touching your face and your hair. When it comes to makeup, most cosmetics on the market are non-comedogenic, so even if you wear makeup while working out, it shouldn’t clog your pores. Remember, too much makeup can cause irritation on your face, so washing your face before and after exercise is good for your skin. It's best not to wear makeup when you go to the gym to exercise.

Fitness Clothes

There are many different ways to de-stress your body, from head to toe, starting with the clothes you work out in. It is very uncomfortable to be stuck in wet clothes for several hours. Bring a change of clothes for five gym sessions, starting with socks, shirts and underwear. Women especially need to bring a change of underwear to prevent fungal infections when wearing damp or sweaty underwear for too long.

Consider buying athletic clothing made from synthetic fabrics that are specifically designed to wick sweat away quickly and keep you cool and dry, such as Nike, Double Dry Champion, or Cool Max. Cotton clothes retain sweat and moisture, making you sticky and smelly.

It is best to wear breathable socks when working, or choose not to wear socks. Women should wear sports bras when exercising. They not only provide support, but are also not easily deformed and easier to clean.
