When we are exercising, we want our bodies not to be affected at all. Of course, this is just what we want. During the exercise, there will always be some accidents that will bring a lot of impact and harm to our bodies. We should learn some knowledge about first aid so that we can help our bodies. So what are the common sense of first aid for sports injuries? Let’s find out together! 1. First aid bandaging Bandaging has a fixed splint or dressing to limit the movement of the injured limb to avoid aggravating the injury; protect the wound to prevent or reduce infection; support the injured limb to keep it in a comfortable position, relieve pain and compress to stop bleeding, prevent or reduce swelling, etc. When bandaging, the movements should be gentle and skillful, and the tightness of the bandage should be moderate. If it is too tight, it will hinder blood circulation, and if it is too loose, it will not have the effect of bandaging. The bandage should be applied from the far end of the injured area. At the end of the bandage, the end of the bandage should be fixed with adhesive tape or the end of the bandage should be left in section and cut vertically to secure it, but the knot should not be tied at the wound. (II) Hemostasis According to research, a healthy adult has an average of about 75 ml of blood per kg of body weight, and the total blood volume can reach 4000~5000 ml. If acute massive bleeding reaches 20% of the total blood volume, symptoms of acute pelvic bleeding such as pale complexion, dizziness, fatigue, and thirst may appear; if the amount of bleeding exceeds 30% of the total blood volume, it may be life-threatening. Therefore, for patients with external bleeding, especially bleeding from the large arteries, the bleeding must be stopped immediately; for patients suspected of having internal or intracranial bleeding, they should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible. 3. Artificial respiration and external cardiac compression Respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest can occur alone or simultaneously. After breathing stops, the whole body is deprived of oxygen, which may cause cardiac arrest; after cardiac arrest, blood flow to the medulla oblongata stops, which can quickly cause medullary hypoxia and central respiratory failure, leading to respiratory arrest. There are many causes of respiratory and cardiac arrest, the most common ones are electric shock, carbon monoxide poisoning or drug poisoning, severe trauma and massive bleeding, drowning and suffocation. Now we understand the common sense of first aid for sports injuries. This first aid knowledge can not only help us with injuries sustained during sports, but also provide us with some help in normal times. We may suffer a lot of injuries during sports. Of course, with this first aid knowledge, our bodies can receive treatment as soon as possible so that we can get better exercise. |
