Crossover step

2 Features: This technique is often used when breaking through from the outside of the defender's front foot. It can be combined with fake moves such as shooting and stepping.

3. Action method: Take the right foot as the pivot foot as an example. Start from the basic posture. When breaking through, push the ground with the inside of the left front foot, turn the upper body slightly to the right, press the left shoulder forward and downward, step the left foot forward to the right, and at the same time quickly push the ball in front of the left foot with the right hand, then push the ground with the right foot and dribble past the opponent.

4 Technical points: Lower the center of gravity, turn your shoulders to protect the ball, step actively, and push and release the ball in time.

Break through

2 Features: This technique is often used when breaking through the inside of the defender's front foot. It can also be combined with crossover breakthroughs, shots, strides and other fake moves.

3. Action method: When breaking through, push the ground with the inside of your left foot, quickly step forward to the right with your right foot, and at the same time turn your upper body to the right and stretch your shoulders, and use your right hand to push the ball forward. After pushing off the ground with the left foot, quickly step forward to the right, continue dribbling forward, and surpass your opponent.

4 Technical points: Push off powerfully, turn around and extend your shoulders, and accelerate actively.

The main technical points of basketball dribbling are that the center of gravity must be stable, and some shoulder or hand movements must be combined to break through. The two different main methods are to adopt a specific method of acceleration. In daily life, the skills of basketball dribbling must be practiced and experienced repeatedly. Doing some movements to protect the ball, turning your back to the defense to do turning and breaking through, and combining fake moves to break through are all helpful for the basic skills of basketball breakthroughs.
