Sprinting is a popular sport all over the world today, and it is also the most competitive and exciting event in sports events. Here I will give you some basic knowledge about the sport of sprinting. Sprinting, as the name suggests, is a short-distance sprint that tests a moment's explosive power and a certain amount of endurance. The difference from long-distance running is that sprinting is an anaerobic exercise while long-distance running is an aerobic exercise. Sprinting is running a specified distance as quickly as possible. The competition events include 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and 60 meters for teenagers. Sprinting is a sport of extreme intensity in which the human body's motor organs and internal organs complete maximum intensity work under conditions of severe oxygen deprivation. Sprinting can effectively develop speed qualities, therefore it is a basic event in track and field sports and also plays an important role in the training of other sports. Sprinting technique is an indivisible whole. For the convenience of analysis, it can be divided into three parts: starting and accelerating after starting, running in the middle and running to the finish line. Walking is an aerobic exercise, but sprinting 200 meters (fast) is not considered an aerobic exercise. Because the exercise time is long (about 15 minutes or more), the exercise intensity is moderate or high (75% to 85% of the maximum heart rate). Whether it is "aerobic exercise" is measured by heart rate. Exercise with a heart rate maintained at 150 beats/minute is aerobic exercise, because at this time the blood can supply the myocardium with sufficient oxygen; therefore, it is characterized by low intensity, rhythm, and long duration. Each exercise should last no less than 1 hour and should be done 3 to 5 times a week. This type of exercise allows oxygen to fully break down sugar in the body, consume body fat, enhance and improve cardiopulmonary function, prevent osteoporosis, and regulate psychological and mental state. It is the main form of exercise for fitness. Common aerobic exercises include: walking, brisk walking, jogging, skating, swimming, cycling, Tai Chi, fitness dancing, skipping rope/doing rhythmic gymnastics, etc. Aerobic exercise is characterized by low intensity, rhythm, uninterrupted and continuous exercise for a long time. Compared with explosive non-aerobic exercises such as weightlifting, running, high jump, long jump, and throwing, aerobic exercise is a constant exercise that can last for more than 5 minutes with spare energy. People who like sprinting should know that it is an intense sport that requires a lot of exercise and is easy to lose weight. Therefore, when engaging in this sport, you should pay attention to protective measures, as the harm of injuries to athletes is immeasurable. But sprinting can also strengthen our body and increase our physical fitness. |
