How to do one-handed push-ups

Single push-ups are more difficult than double-handed push-ups. Many people have recently been pursuing higher difficulty and started doing push-ups with one hand. Doing push-ups with one hand not only tests our arm strength, but also our skills. ⑴ First, you should practice push-ups with both hands, and keep exercising every day until you can do 70 push-ups with both hands without feeling any soreness in the upper body muscles.

⑵Next you can try doing one-handed push-ups. When I first did it with one hand, I felt like I couldn't use any strength in my arms, as if I had strength but couldn't express it. Unlike the two-handed exercise, the one-handed exercise also requires a very particular posture: stand with your legs apart and place your right hand in the middle of your body, probably above your chest and below your head. Because the force is generated with one hand, I suggest you use your right hand when you first start practicing. When you push your hands down and put them up again, you need to use the strength of your toes and waist.

⑶I couldn’t do it with one hand at first, and then I practiced it repeatedly before going to bed every day. Then you can support it with 5, 10, or 15 pieces. Once you can do it with your right hand, you can try switching to your left hand. Now I can do 40 push-ups with one hand without any problem. Whenever I do one-handed push-ups in the playground, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I see others watching and praising me. So, what I want to say is that not only one-handed push-ups, but all exercises require perseverance. I have been exercising since 2009, and I have been doing it almost every day except when it rains!

Knowing in advance how to practice one-handed push-ups is very helpful for improving the number and level of our push-ups. At the same time, it is very necessary to master scientific methods, which can help us better achieve the effect of saving effort.
