How to stick to physical exercise

It is very necessary to develop a good habit of physical exercise. People who regularly participate in physical exercise have healthier physical fitness indicators than normal people, but many people cannot persist in exercise. Some people may plan a large amount of exercise when they start exercising, which eventually leads to them retreating from the heavy physical exercise program. Some people choose a variety of exercises when they start exercising. Switching between different exercises makes them feel tired and unable to persist.

Determine the time to exercise every day and think about which time period is most suitable for you, early in the morning, after lunch, or in the evening. For example, in the morning, set a time of 5:30 in the morning for yourself. Keep this time every day and set a reminder on your phone to try not to change it. Without a set time, you're likely to find excuses to put off exercising until you have more time or more energy, and then put it off until the next day, and then a few more times can ruin the habit completely.

Prepare your sports equipment in advance. The fewer obstacles and resistance you encounter in the process of developing a habit, the greater the possibility of success. Imagine that early in the morning, when you are half asleep, you think about having to organize a bunch of sports equipment before exercising. You may feel annoyed and go back to sleep. But if you have laid out your sportswear, sports shoes, water bottles, etc. in advance so that you can go out for exercise at any time, maybe things will go more smoothly.

Put on your sneakers and get out the door. Don’t think about how long or how far you are going to run today. Just think about opening the door and walking out. Once you do that, the rest is a piece of cake.

In fact, physical exercise is not a painful thing. On the contrary, correct exercise can make people happy. For example, when running, you can listen to music, appreciate the surrounding scenery, and breathe the fresh air in the morning. It can cultivate your sentiments and enjoy the tranquility of nature. The point is that many years ago, you should deliberately tell yourself that "exercise is a happy thing."
