Our body will secrete some sweat in some situations. For example, we will sweat a lot when the weather is hot; we will sweat when we are frightened; and we will sweat when we do some exercise. However, people are not very clear about the principle of sweating. I hope to understand the reasons for sweating, so I will briefly introduce the reasons for sweating during exercise: Sweat gland secretion is closely related to exercise intensity: the general rule is that the greater the exercise intensity, the more sweat you produce. Because as the intensity of exercise increases, muscle activity becomes more intense and more heat is produced. In order to maintain normal body temperature, the human body must increase sweating to dissipate excess heat. Therefore, the greater the intensity of exercise, the more sweating will inevitably increase. The amount of sweating is first related to individual differences: as we all know, sweat comes from the secretion of sweat glands, and the number of sweat glands is extremely large. Physiological studies have found that the number of small glands and large glands varies not only between genders, but also between individuals. Therefore, under the same conditions, some people sweat more and some people sweat less. In addition, individual differences are also reflected in the amount of body fluids. Some people have more body fluids and sweat more when exercising; some people have less body fluids and sweat less when exercising. The amount of body fluid often depends on the body fat content. Because adipose tissue contains relatively less water, fat people have relatively less body fluid than thin people. Although fat people sweat a lot during exercise, their ability to tolerate water loss is relatively poor. In other words, if they do not exercise for a long time, fat people will become tired prematurely due to water and salt metabolism disorders. Whether or not you drink water before exercise also affects body fluids. If you drink a lot of water before exercise, the amount of sweating will increase due to the increase in body fluids. It is normal to sweat profusely during exercise. If you sweat a lot when exercising, you don’t need to worry, because it is a normal physiological phenomenon. However, due to individual differences, some people will sweat a lot when exercising, while others will sweat less. As long as you don't have any uncomfortable symptoms, it is normal and you don't need to worry too much. |
