How to relax after strenuous exercise

1. 2. Lower limb relaxation exercise: Keep your body in a supine position, lift your legs up, and pat and massage your legs with both hands. Use your toes to slightly shake your thighs and calves, and also shake your buttocks, abdomen, waist, etc. Tuck and knee hug exercise: Keep your body in a squatting position, hug your knees with both hands, and at the same time lower your head as much as possible (it is best to put your chin on your chest), and then raise it up, about 20-30 times.

3. Whole body rest exercise: bend your knees, lean your upper body forward and support the ground with your hands. At this time, make full use of your breath, take a deep breath into your chest, and then sink the air into your Dantian. Repeat this several times, then slowly raise your upper limbs and stand upright until your pulse returns to normal.

4. Auxiliary method: Pay attention to replenishing water when relaxing after exercise. Everyone has this experience: you feel very thirsty after training, but you always feel that drinking more water is useless. This is because the main electrolytes in sweat are sodium and chloride ions, as well as small amounts of potassium and calcium. The sweat lost during long-term exercise is rich in sodium ions. The loss of sodium ions and chloride ions will make the body unable to regulate physiological changes such as body fluids and temperature in a timely manner. At this time, replenishing water in a short period of time is not enough to cope with the loss of electrolytes.

Three tips for relaxing after training:

1. After strenuous exercise, do not go swimming or take a cold bath immediately, otherwise it will easily lead to cold allergy and cause a cold.

2. It is the hottest time of summer. After strenuous exercise, it is not advisable to drink a lot of water or eat cold food immediately. After exercise, you should drink warm boiled water and light salt water in small amounts several times.
