How to practice yoga in winter

Yoga is currently a very popular sport with many benefits. Most women like this way of exercise. As long as you master the steps of the exercise, you can exercise at home or in the office to avoid obesity caused by sitting for long periods of time. However, it is very inconvenient to practice yoga in winter, mainly because of the cold weather. Those who like this sport need to change the way of exercise and the movements should also be changed. So how to practice yoga in winter? The practice method is:

1. Stand naturally with your feet together and your arms hanging at your sides; exhale while raising your arms high above your head with your palms facing forward. After one breath, bend your upper body downward, lower your shoulders as much as possible, keep your palms close to the ground and your knees slightly bent; inhale after 5 seconds, slowly straighten your knees while raising your head and chest, but keep your fingertips touching the ground.

2. Exhale, take a big step back with your right foot, bend your left knee, and press your whole body down, trying to touch your chest to your left knee; place your hands on both sides of your left foot, with your palms supporting the ground to maintain your body balance; keep your head up and chest out, looking forward; exhale, stretch your left foot backward and align it with your right foot, lift your hips, look at the ground, and your whole body should be in an inverted "V" shape.

3. Inhale and bend your knees slightly; while inhaling, jump up, support your body with your arms, and hang your knees on your elbows. (Make sure your feet are off the ground when you jump, and push your heels back.) Repeat 5 times, return your body to an inverted "V" shape, and let your breathing slowly calm down.

4. Maintain the inverted "V" shape at the end of the previous movement as the starting movement. After your breathing calms down, lift your right leg straight back while exhaling; bend your right knee, and open your entire hind leg outward like a wing, with your knee pointing to the outside of the body; inhale, keeping your thigh position unchanged, stretch your right leg straight outward, with the sole of your foot pointing diagonally behind your body.

5. After one breath, bend your right knee while breathing, and pass the entire right leg forward from under your chest. Try to touch your elbow with your right knee. Do not let your right foot touch the ground, and do not arch your back too much. Repeat this action 2 to 5 times, then retract your right leg, step on the ground, and align it with your left leg, and restore your body to an inverted "V" shape. After your breathing becomes calm, take a step forward with your right leg, bend your right knee, and place your right leg between your hands. Bend your left knee as well, and kneel on the ground. Your whole body is in a running position. Exhale, and at the same time, hold your chest and head high. Maintain this position for 2 to 5 breaths until you calm down.

6. Kneel on one leg and inhale, put your hands together behind your back; inhale, slowly move your fists down along the coccyx until your arms are fully extended, hold for 2 to 5 breaths; inhale, put your hands together in front of your chest; exhale, without separating your hands, bend your arms backwards, and "lock" them directly from your head to the back of your neck.

7. Release your hands and place them on both sides of your right foot in front of you; retract your hips and straighten your right leg, with your right heel touching the ground. Maintain this position for 2 to 5 breaths; inhale, stretch your spine forward as far as possible, exhale, and retract your right leg at the same time to return to the 4A position.
