How to do the Six-Character Qigong Exercise

Many friends have heard that health care can be achieved through practicing Qigong, but in the process of practicing Qigong, some methods are not in place, or some key points are not mastered, which leads to no improvement in physical fitness after practicing Qigong for a long time. In fact, practicing Qigong is not that difficult. Our ancestors summed up the six-word formula of health-preserving Qigong for us. Here is a brief introduction to the six-word formula.

The Six-Character Formula exercise uses the six words "hush", "ha", "hu", "si", "blow" and "xi" to pronounce and exhale to get rid of the old and take in the new, balance the internal organs, dredge the meridians, harmonize Qi and blood, and cure diseases and provide health care. This exercise is simple and easy to perform, and it is not easy to go wrong. It has a good effect on hypertension, coronary heart disease, bronchitis, gastrointestinal disease, chronic hepatitis, diabetes, neurasthenia and other diseases.

Operation and posture: standing naturally, sitting flat, sitting cross-legged naturally, or lying on your back are all acceptable. Breathing: Inhale through nose and exhale through mouth. When inhaling, close your mouth, press your tongue against the upper palate, and bulge your abdomen; when exhaling, chant the words related to the "Six-Character Formula" and exhale slowly, while lifting your anus and retracting your lower abdomen.

Intention: Intention should be closely combined with exhalation. When exhaling, imagine the turbid air in the corresponding organs, and slowly exhale it from your mouth along with the words you silently recite. When inhaling, imagine that you are slowly breathing in the fresh air of heaven and earth through your nose to nourish the corresponding organs. Six-word practice: The word "hush" (pronounced "xu", x): The word "hush" regulates the liver. It is mainly used to treat dizziness, high blood pressure, dry and swollen eyes caused by hyperactivity of liver yang, or acute and chronic hepatitis, or loss of appetite and indigestion caused by wood suppressing the spleen. Action coordination: overlap your hands and place them on your lower abdomen, with your palms facing the lower Dantian point. When you exhale, say the word "hush" until you exhale, and repeat this process over and over again.
