What are the Tai Chi warm-up exercises?

Any exercise requires warm-up preparation. If we don’t warm up before exercising, we will definitely not be in good condition when the exercise starts. After doing warm-up exercises, we will also be more confident. So what are the warm-up exercises for Tai Chi?

(1) Preparation Before warming up, do some stretching exercises and jogging and other preparatory exercises with less exercise load. This can increase body temperature, improve muscle contraction function, mobilize the activities of internal organs in advance, enhance blood circulation and energy metabolism, and prevent sports injuries. Boxing friends can do this step on the way from home to the practice venue.

(2)Main fitness exercises Perform a targeted warm-up according to the above exercise sequence. The amount of exercise in Chen-style Tai Chi is relatively moderate, but the knee joints are more demanding than other parts of the body, and they bear more pressure and require more activity, especially when practicing traditional routines for a long time. Therefore, in the warm-up exercises, we should focus on improving joint function and muscle strength training.

(3) Organizing activities. This activity is a cool-down after the above exercise. It includes both mental and physical relaxation. So as to achieve the purpose of strengthening the body.

If you warm up according to the above activity sequence and steps for a long time, you will get twice the result with half the effort in learning Tai Chi. If you can make warm-up exercises a habit that you cannot change, you will be in good athletic condition and stay away from injuries.

Don't be impatient when practicing Tai Chi. You must do these warm-up exercises first, so that the Tai Chi you practice will get better results. When practicing Tai Chi, you must ensure that you persist every day, otherwise one or two days of exercise will not have any effect.
