What equipment do you need for mountain climbing?

The usual boring life always puts us under great pressure, and not having time for physical exercise will make our bodies particularly prone to some diseases. If we regularly do outdoor sports, we can release our mood and improve our body's immunity. Mountain climbing is a very good sport that can better regulate our body, but we must be adequately prepared. Let's learn about what equipment is needed for mountain climbing.

What equipment do you need for mountain climbing?

Personal equipment:

Large backpack: large capacity, good carrying system, waterproof, wear-resistant and light weight. Of course, if the above conditions are met, it would be a bit too demanding to require the backpack to be light. I am wearing BP65PT, which is not waterproof and wear-resistant enough and is quite heavy.

Backpack rain cover: It is best to use the rain cover that comes with the large backpack.

Underwear and casual clothes: perspiration-wicking and quick-drying underwear, 1 set of long-sleeved and short-sleeved shirts; 1 set of T-shirts and shorts; 1 large bandana (to wipe sweat, replace a hat, flag, or medical triangular bandage);

Outerwear: 1 pair of jacket or waterproof windbreaker, 1 pair of quick-drying trousers;

Hat: sunshade, cold protection, 1 hat;

Gloves: Thornproof, 1 pair

Feet: Wear thick socks (not cotton or wool) on the outside and sweat-wicking and vapor-isolating socks (COOLMAX material) on the inside, 2 pairs each;

Footwear: long-distance heavy-duty hiking shoes, TEVA sandals, high-top military shoes, 1 pair each;

Rain gear: It is very important. It is recommended to bring 2 sets of raincoats (1 large and sturdy, and one lightweight). This time I gave the lightweight raincoat to the guide.

Protective equipment: shin guards, bowl guards, knee pads, ankle guards. I didn’t bring them this time because I forgot them at home.

Climbing: 1 70cm long ice axe, trekking pole (not brought), 1 main carabiner with thread, 2 long flat belts, 2 grab ropes, and 1 figure-8 ring. Spare technical equipment: 4 ordinary quick draws (not for technical climbing, cannot bear weight, used to hang small objects on the backpack)

The above is an introduction to what equipment is needed for mountain climbing. After understanding it, we will not be in a hurry when climbing. In addition, if we want to make our body healthier, we should also pay attention to the balance of diet and nutrition in our daily life, and keep a happy mood.
