What to eat to grow muscles

Many people think that they should not eat certain foods while exercising, because if they eat too much, the effect of their fitness will not be reflected. In fact, this view is incorrect. Basically, you should eat some nutritious food after exercising. This will ensure your physical health and will not make you feel particularly exhausted after exercising.

1. Supplement enough calories. Muscle growth consumes energy. Without enough calories, it is impossible to ensure normal muscle growth.

2. Supplement enough carbohydrates. During bodybuilding training, energy is mainly provided by glycogen. The intake of carbohydrates can replenish glycogen, supply energy, and prevent muscle breakdown caused by training.

3. Supplement high-quality protein raw materials. Protein is the cornerstone of muscle composition and the basis of muscle growth. Therefore, sufficient high-quality protein must be consumed every day.

4. Promote synthesis and reduce decomposition. When muscle synthesis is greater than decomposition, the muscle grows, otherwise it shrinks. Therefore, we should pay attention to resisting muscle breakdown and promoting protein synthesis.

5. Maintain appropriate hormone levels. Growth hormone, insulin and testosterone in the body are essential for muscle protein synthesis. Hormone levels can be regulated through diet and nutritional supplements to stimulate muscle growth.

Eating more alkaline foods can help you grow muscle

The body fluids of a normal person are weakly alkaline. After fitness exercise, the sugar, fat, and protein in the body are broken down in large quantities, producing acidic substances such as lactic acid and phosphoric acid, which make people feel sore muscles and joints and mental fatigue. At this time, you should eat alkaline foods such as vegetables, sweet potatoes, citrus fruits, and apples to maintain a basic balance of acidity and alkalinity in the body in order to eliminate fatigue caused by exercise as soon as possible.

In addition to alkaline foods such as vegetables and fruits, you should also supplement with a variety of essential vitamins to make up for the losses during metabolism and sweating and meet the needs of bodybuilding training.

The most important thing is naturally to replenish your body with sufficient calories. After all, we will consume a lot of calories in our body during fitness. If we don’t have enough calories, there is no way to ensure the normal growth of muscles in our body, so we can’t achieve the fitness effect we want.
