There is no unified standard for the practice time, venue, number of people, content, movement name, rhythm speed, etc. of various sets of aerobics movements. They can be arranged according to the needs of practitioners. In addition to the above classification, aerobics can also be classified into the following categories according to certain characteristics:

(1) According to the main purpose and task of the exercise, it can be divided into mass aerobics and competitive aerobics;

(2) According to the form of exercise, it can be divided into free-hand aerobics, aerobics with light equipment and aerobics with special aerobics equipment;

(3) According to the gender characteristics of the practitioners, it can be divided into women's aerobics and men's aerobics;

(4) According to the characteristics of the different age stages of the practitioners, it can be divided into infant aerobics, children's aerobics, juvenile aerobics, youth aerobics, middle-aged aerobics and elderly aerobics;

(5) According to the characteristics of human anatomy, body parts can be divided into neck aerobics, shoulder aerobics, arm aerobics, chest aerobics, waist and abdomen aerobics, hip aerobics, leg aerobics and foot aerobics;

(6) According to the content and characteristics of the movements, it can be divided into body aerobics, posture aerobics, running and jumping aerobics, and mat aerobics.

Main categories

At present, the aerobics popular at home and abroad can be roughly divided into six categories: aerobics series compiled for different ages; aerobics for men and women compiled according to different genders; individual, double and group aerobics compiled according to the number of people; aerobics for shaping the body and improving posture and body shape; aerobics for exercising various parts of the body; aerobics with bare hands or light equipment. To sum up, aerobics is a sport that integrates gymnastics, music, and dance in the pursuit of human health and beauty. Therefore, aerobics has multiple social and cultural functions such as sports, dance, music, and aesthetic education. Through aerobics exercises, the "three health" goals of improving physical fitness, promoting health, shaping body shape, controlling weight, cheering up the spirit, and cultivating sentiments can be achieved. The society has given aerobics many titles: aerobics, aerobics dance, fitness exercises, fitness dance, health dance, aerobics, aerobic dance, aerobic exercise, etc.

In fact, there are many ways to develop a fit body, but you have to choose according to your personal needs. Female friends are different from male friends. You cannot set your own standards according to the difficulty of other people's exercises. If you do this, the intensity of your exercise will be too high and your body will not be able to withstand it.
