Pregnant mother did this yoga and immediately had a miscarriage

Practicing yoga can help pregnant women give birth naturally, but not all yoga is suitable for mothers to practice. Mothers who are pregnant should not try hot yoga. Because the indoor temperature is too high, mothers will sweat a lot and become dehydrated after exercise, which may make their blood thicker, which is not good for the development of the fetus. Especially in the first three months of pregnancy, it should never be attempted to avoid the risk of miscarriage.

Avoid excessive sweating or heat stroke

Yin Changsheng said that hot yoga uses heating to raise the room temperature to 40℃ in order to induce profuse sweating. It can consume about 630 calories per hour and has recently attracted many people who want to lose weight to try it. However, hot yoga can cause excessive sweating and dehydration, which may make the mother's blood thicker, affecting the development of the fetus and even increasing the chance of miscarriage.

Zhou Huizheng, deputy director of teaching and research at Taiwan Adventist Hospital, said that pregnant women have poor circulation and a heavy burden on their heart and lungs. Once they sweat profusely or suffer from heatstroke, both the mother and the fetus will be in danger of death.

Zhou Huizheng said that as for the yoga that is mainly performed by pregnant women, attention should be paid to the safety of the venue. The floor should be covered with cushions, and the environment should be ventilated or have air conditioning. After every 30 minutes of exercise, you should rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
