First, wash your hands and lips with warm water, then apply a thin layer of olive oil or honey on your lips, pinch your upper lip with your thumb and index finger, keep your index finger still, and gently rub your thumb from the corner of your mouth to the center of your lips, then switch hands to massage. One set of massage consists of 5 back and forth movements. After completing 5 sets, pinch your lower lip with your index finger and thumb, keep your thumb still, and use your index finger to gently massage your lower lip. Repeat the same 5 sets.

If there are vertical wrinkles at the corners of your mouth, you can use the middle fingers of both hands to gently push from the center of your lips to both sides to make your lips feel stretched. Do 5 sets for each upper and lower lips. After the massage, gently wipe off the excess olive oil or honey with a tissue, and then apply a layer of colorless lip balm. Your lips will become hydrated, tender, and naturally pink.

The Secret of Super Hydrating Lip Mask

The second secret recipe was recommended to me by a friend I met while practicing yoga. This sister is well versed in health preservation. Although she is in her early thirties, her skin is still delicate and tender. What is particularly amazing is that even in the cold winter, her lips are still pink and tender. After asking her, I learned that she makes her own lip mask to apply on her lips every other day. No wonder her lips are in such good condition. It’s not difficult to make a lip mask, let’s learn it together.

Honey and milk lip mask: Mix 1 spoon of honey, 1 spoon of milk and 1 spoon of cereal powder, then dip a cotton swab and apply it evenly on your lips. Wash it off after 20 minutes. Yogurt and lemon juice lip mask: Add 1 to 2 drops of lemon juice to the leftover yogurt (only a very small amount is needed), stir well, then apply it evenly on the lips with a cotton swab, wrap your lips with a piece of plastic wrap, and wash with clean water after 15 minutes. Do this 3 times within 15 days to ensure your lips become moisturized.

The third secret recipe for lip care is the yoga food I carefully developed. The diet advocated by yoga is not only good for health, but also for beauty. Here are some delicious recipes to help you fight against chapped lips. You can make them at any time, not just in winter.

Cucumber and kiwi juice: Wash the cucumber, remove the pulp, leave the skin and cut into small pieces. Peel the kiwi and cut it into pieces. Put them into a juicer together with the cucumber. Add cold boiled water, squeeze into juice, add honey and stir well. Drink it one hour before meals. This vegetable and fruit juice not only moisturizes your lips, but also nourishes your skin and helps you lose weight.

Cauliflower in tomato sauce: Cut the cauliflower into small florets, soak them in salt water for 5 to 10 minutes, wash and boil them in boiling water for about 5 minutes; wash the celery, cut into sections, blanch them in boiling water, remove and drain; wash the carrots and onions, cut them into slices and shreds respectively; use hot oil to stir-fry the onion shreds until fragrant, add pepper, carrot slices and tomato sauce when they turn slightly yellow, continue to stir-fry until dark red, add the cauliflower and celery sections, add seasoning to adjust the taste and stir well. Eating this dish regularly can not only moisturize your lips, but also make your face hydrated and tender.

Yam porridge that strengthens the spleen and moistens lips: Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "the spleen opens up in the mouth, and its beauty is in the lips", which means that if the spleen is healthy, the lips will naturally be rosy and lustrous. Therefore, to prevent chapped lips, strengthening the spleen is the key. Yam is a spleen-strengthening food that is neither dry nor greasy. If you cook it into porridge with polished rice or glutinous rice, which also strengthens the spleen, you will definitely have rosy and plump lips. The method is very simple. Wash and peel the yam, cut into small cubes, soak it in clean water for a while (to prevent oxidation and blackening), then wash the japonica rice or glutinous rice and put it into the pot, add appropriate amount of clean water, bring to a boil over high heat, then add the diced yam and red dates, and simmer over low heat until it is soft.
