Avoid anger

Middle-aged and elderly people have many household chores and heavy work tasks, and their emotions are easily fluctuating. When people are angry, their emotions change drastically and their sympathetic nerves become extremely excited. Adrenaline secretion increases and the heart rate speeds up. When blood pressure rises, the blood circulation in the body urgently needs to be readjusted, and the normal physiological functions of the organs are disturbed, which can easily induce gastric ulcers, hypertension, coronary heart disease, etc. Therefore, when people reach middle age or old age, they must learn to control their emotions.

Stop being lazy

When people reach middle age or old age, they unconsciously feel their legs become heavy and easily fatigued, and therefore they don't like to exercise. This shows that aging has quietly arrived. Therefore, middle-aged and elderly people should avoid laziness, take walks and exercise more frequently.

Avoid overwork

Middle-aged and elderly people shoulder the double burden of work and housework. If they are overworked, the body's tissues and organs will not get proper rest. Over time, they will develop illnesses due to overwork, causing poor sleep, loss of appetite, and weight loss.

Abstain from indulgence

When people reach middle age or old age, some people think that the situation is hopeless and rush to “catch up”. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that excessive sexual activity can damage the kidneys. When people reach middle age, it is understandable that couples love each other, but they should know when to stop and not indulge in lust.
