*Getting Started
1.Hold the (-) key for 1.6 seconds and wait for the on/off tone.
2.To increase volume, press the (+) key.
3.To decrease volume, press the (-) key.

1.Turning On/Off
Hold the (-) key for 1.6 seconds and wait for the on/off tone. If the battery is removed for more than 5 seconds and placed back into the battery slots, the unit resets itself and it will begin at volume level 1. (In the condition of not removing the battery and the battery still has power) When turning on, the unit will automatically go back to the most recent volume level set before the unit was turned off and a tone will sound, corresponding to the current volume level.
2.Volume Up +/Volume Down -
Six levels, each with its own corresponding tone. From the lowest to the highest level: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La. Two “Beeps” will sound when it has reached either the highest or the lowest volume level.
3.Noise Reduction Mode
When powered, unit defaults at Outdoor Mode. Hold (+) key for 1.6 seconds, wait for the tone. “Ding-Dong” means that the unit is in Outdoor Mode, “Ding-Ding-Dong” means that the unit is in Indoor Mode. (In the condition of not removing the battery and the battery still has power) After turning on the unit, it will default to the last mode before its last time powered down.
4.2 Hour Shutdown Timer
Timer begins after the last command given while unit was turned on (unit turned on without any commands). After 2 hours, a triple “Di” will sound, and unit will automatically shut off if no new command is given within 1 minute. However, if there is a new command given within that minute (press (+) or (-) key), the corresponding volume level tone will sound and the 2-hour timer will reset itself.
5.Low Battery Warning
When the battery voltage is under 2.0V, a triple “Beep” alarm will sound. Alarm will sound once every 30 seconds; unit will shut down itself after 6 consecutive alarms.
6.Noise Reduction Mode Recovery Time
1.Outdoor Mode: Noise Reduction Mode activates when it detects harmful levels of noise; it will reset after 1 second.
2.Indoor Mode: Noise Reduction Mode activates when it detects harmful levels of noise; it will reset after 3 seconds.
