1. Man-boat rescue method (when both man and boat are together) 1. The self-rescue method of reverse reeling and suction: first capsize or detach yourself, push the paddle into the water, and use the strong water current at the bottom of the water to pull the person and the kayak out (applicable when the water is shallow). 2. When the boat is caught in the reel, use a throwing rope to rescue. Throw the rope above your head, shout "Throw rope" loudly, and pull the boat and people out (the best direction to throw the rope is above your head or within 50 cm downstream). 3. When being sucked by the reel, break away from it and save yourself. After breaking away, use IRIA to ensure the drifting action, and drift to the pool area and swim ashore by yourself. 4. When stuck on a rock: (a) Shake left and right (b) Paddle up (c) Ask for help from boatmates throwing ropes (d) After getting out, use IRIA to secure the boat and drift ashore (e) Boatmates get off the boat and use ropes to secure the boat and go upstream to the rock in the river for rescue.
2. Ways to rescue the ship 1. Rescue methods for (rocks in the river) in water areas: such as (sandbars, rocks in the river, driftwood) (1) Use a rubber boat to rescue the boat stuck in the river rock, and row the boat close to the river rock to rescue the canoe trapped in the river rock. When the water flow is strong, use a rope on each bank to pull the boat upstream to the turning area downstream of the river rock to ensure that the rescuer can climb onto the river rock for rescue. Another rope is thrown downstream to ensure that after the rescue is completed, it will help the rescue boat to leave the turning area. This is a Y-shaped securing method. (2) Row a kayak to a rock in the river and hook the (big D) with a throwing rope to the handle of the trapped boat. After the rescuer quickly rows to the shore and gets ashore, pull the (rescued boat) back (note: it must be used with a quick hook). 2. Methods for rescuing boats from the shore (1) Throwing rope to rescue the boat: Tie a rope to a large rock and throw it into the cockpit to pull out the trapped boat (applicable to rewinding and sucking it). (2) The method of rescuing the boat by throwing a rope to secure it: one person on the shore pulls the rope to secure it, and another person jumps into the water with the rope to secure the boat. (3) When the boat is caught in the backwash, hook the paddle (large D) with the throwing rope attached to it and attach it to the handle of the boat caught in the backwash, then pull the throwing rope to pull the canoe out. (4) When the boat is sucked into the backwash, use the forked branches of branches or bamboo to hook the boat or tie the branches together (big D) to hook the boat. 3. Ship-to-Ship Rescue (1) Tie a throw rope to the inflatable canoe. One person on shore holds the throw rope while another person paddles closer to the rescued person's boat and pulls it. (2) Row closer and give him a push (applicable when the boat is stuck in a slow current). (3) Use the (boat pulling rope set) to pull the boat. This is applicable to lake areas. If the water is too fast to reach the shore in time, immediately release the quick release buckle. 4. Land-to-land rescue (1) Applicable when transferring a canoe, sideways or high around. (2) Throw the boat into the water and have it caught by the downstream. This method is suitable for use in (waterfalls), (sand dams), and (high detours). (3) Use a throwing rope to throw to the other side and pull the boat to this side (applicable to cross-strait transfer). 3. Save people 1. Methods of rescuing people from the shore (1) Rescue method with a throw rope: One person on the shore holds the throw rope to secure it, while another person pulls one end of the throw rope and jumps into the water to rescue people! (Note: Use with a quick release buckle so that you can quickly detach in an emergency.) (2) Rescue rope throwing method: Throw the rope to within 50 cm downstream of the person being rescued. Rescue experience tells us that it is best to throw it to the head (directly above), because the person drifts faster in the water than the rope. (3) Rescue method by throwing a rope and tying it to a large rock on the shore: Throw a rope and tie it to a large rock or tree on the shore. The rescuer jumps into the water to save the person. After grabbing the person, the water flow will naturally bring the person to the shore (used when the number of rescuers is insufficient). 2. Methods for saving people from rocks in the water (1) Inflatable canoe rescue method: Use an inflatable canoe to reach a sandbar, a rock in the river, or the other side to pick up someone. (2) The person being rescued throws a stone in the river and a rope to people on shore, who then jump into the water to escape. 3. Water-to-water rescue method (1) Row close to the person who fell into the water, let him grab the stern of your boat, drift with the current and row to the shore (applicable to slow-flowing lake areas). (2) After rowing the boat to get one end of the throwing rope to the person who fell into the water, the rescuer quickly rows to the shore, jumps off the boat, holds the throwing rope, and allows the person to naturally reach the shore (applicable when the river is wide and the throwing rope is not long enough). 4. Self-help (1) Use the basic action of (IRIA) to drift to the shore in the pond (2) Find a safe spot to swim to shore and flip your body onto the shore (3) Hold onto grass, trees, or large rocks (4) When the boat capsizes: Be sure to hold on to the boat, or lie on the boat. It is safer to float with the kayak! 5. Rescue oar (1) If you drop an oar, shout "Oar dropped" to attract the attention of boatmates below to help pick it up. (2) Go to the pile of stones and search backwards (3) Search the downstream area (4) Emergency paddle: Use two Y-shaped branches and a throwing rope or tape to make a paddle. 6. When you pick up the paddle (1) Use the large D of the towing rope set to hook the paddle and bring it back (2) Overlap paddling to bring back (3) Throw gently back to the pebble bank or static water area 7. Disembarkation When leaving the canoe (1) Make sure the boat is parked in a suitable location to prevent it from drifting away (2) When walking along the shore, carry a throwing rope with you in case of emergency (such as when someone falls into the water or a boat drifts so that you can rescue them immediately). |
