"Asana is the same", the asanas are the same, but the styles of practice can be completely different. For example, in calligraphy, although there are different writing styles such as regular script, official script, running script, and cursive script, the Chinese characters are the same. Another example is Tai Chi. Although there are Chen style, Yang style, Sun style, Wu style and other schools, the basic movements such as "Cloud Hands" and "Single Whip" are the same, except that some postures are more extended, some are compact, some are fast, and some are slow. Asana is a vehicle that allows us to achieve health and integration of body and mind, so just choose the style you like and keep practicing. "All dharmas are like rafts" and "all dharmas are equal, there is no high or low." Do not lose your direction in asana practice. |
