How to do the initial yoga practice?

Yoga is a popular way to correct one's mentality and relax the body and mind. In particular, the fact that yoga can help people maintain a good figure and is also ornamental makes it a popular choice for women. Practicing yoga can also cultivate one's body and mind and calm the heart. Practicing yoga for a long time can achieve a peaceful mind, cultivate sentiments, and make everyone full of confidence and love life. Now I will introduce some basic yoga exercises to you.

When you first start practicing yoga, breathing is very important. For beginners, it takes some time to practice breathing in the correct way. Raising is inhaling, closing is exhaling. Try to complete each breath as completely as possible, with the inhale and exhale taking the same amount of time. Breathe 6 to 8 times in each posture. The higher your concentration, body balance and movement stability during practice, the longer you practice.

Bridge

Benefits: Improves digestion and strengthens abdominal organs. Relieve back pain and neck discomfort.

Preparation: Lie flat on your back, move your tailbone forward, stretch your waist, and exhale. Engage your pelvic floor muscles.

Position: Pull your heels toward your body. Lay your feet flat, distributing your weight evenly from big toe to pinky toe. Focus on the pelvic floor muscles, tighten your abdomen, tighten your buttocks and lift your hips. At the same time, keep your knees together and use the inner thighs to lift your hips and legs off the ground except for your head and shoulders.

Cat pose stretch

Benefits: Eliminates tension in the neck, shoulders and abdominal muscles.

Preparation: Get on all fours like a kitten, hunched over with your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Keep your knees hip-width apart, engaging your abs and shoulders.

Posture: Extend your arms forward and lower your shoulders. As you extend your arms forward, feel the stretch in your shoulders and rest your forehead or chin on the mat.

The above are two basic yoga poses. You can try to practice them. When practicing yoga for the first time, you should be especially careful not to be too aggressive. Try to pay attention to your breathing. If you feel breathing is inconvenient when doing a certain pose, change to the baby pose to relieve it and continue practicing. When the practice reaches a certain level and has certain effects, you can proceed to the next step. Be careful not to get injured.
