What are the precautions after practicing yoga?

Yoga is a very good form of exercise. Many people want to achieve body shaping and beauty by practicing yoga. Some obese people also want to lose weight by practicing yoga. In fact, yoga is a relatively gentle sport. Long-term practice can enhance the flexibility of the human body. It has a good effect on both weight loss and body shaping. So what are the precautions after practicing yoga?

1. There are no special regulations on the diet of practitioners. You can fill half of your stomach with food, a quarter with water, and keep the remaining quarter empty. That is, don't eat too much to avoid feeling heavy and lazy. Do not eat within one hour before or after practicing yoga, and try to avoid practicing within two hours after a meal;

2. It is not advisable to practice difficult movements six months after surgery and during women's menstrual period;

3. Patients with hypertension, asthma and pregnant women should only perform simple movements;

4. It is better to go barefoot and wear loose and comfortable clothes so that the body can move freely;

5. It is not advisable to practice on a hard floor or a too soft bed. You should lay a mat on the ground when practicing;

6. If you feel exhausted or have cramps while maintaining a certain posture, you should stop the exercise immediately and massage;

7. It is advisable to practice in a quiet, well-ventilated room. The indoor air should be fresh and oxygen can be breathed in freely. You can also practice outdoors, but the environment should be pleasant, such as a garden, and not in strong winds, cold or unclean, smoky air. Do not practice near furniture, stoves or any place that may hinder the practice to avoid accidents, especially when doing headstand, do not practice under electric fans; 8. When practicing, you can open or close your eyes and focus on the feeling in your body;

9. If possible, eliminate urination and defecation to reduce the burden;

10. Do what you are able to do, don’t try to force yourself, move slowly, don’t use force suddenly, and don’t deliberately pursue “standards”. When you stretch as far as you can, you're doing it right. Warming up is important. Don't do difficult movements at the beginning to avoid sports injuries. It is best to do some yoga warm-up exercises first. Before starting exercise, you can walk for 5 minutes or climb stairs to fully exercise your whole body. Take it step by step to avoid shocking your body. Try to relax as much as possible during the exercise, and allow a little soreness in the body, but do not overexert yourself or force the movements;

11. Do not laugh or talk while practicing, just focus on your breathing. Maintain regular, deep breathing, which helps the body relax;

12. It is best to practice every day. After completing a complete yoga pose, remember to lie down and rest in corpse pose.

13. When doing each pose, take 5 full breaths, making sure your inhalation and exhalation are equal in length. When doing this series of movements, start with one leg, then switch to the other leg, bend and relax, and breathe deeply. If you want to do it again, you can repeat it;

14. To make balancing easier, find a spot on the floor about 3 to 4 feet in front of you. Eyes relaxed, focus on that point as you slowly come into position, maintain your balance and breathe deeply;

15. Make sure to exercise 3 to 4 times a week. Although many of the movements look simple, some postures, especially balancing movements, are still not easy for a beginner, so don't be afraid of these movements and correct your plan in time.

The above are some precautions for practicing yoga. Practicing yoga should also be done step by step. It is best to practice under the guidance of a professional yoga teacher, so that you can achieve twice the result with half the effort. In addition, you must practice within your ability and stay focused. You should practice at least 3 to 4 times a week. For beginners, you must have the spirit of hard work and perseverance.
