When exercising, should I run first or swim first?

In fact, if we want to exercise in our lives, it is good to run or swim first, but what we need is to warm up before running and swimming, so as to avoid symptoms of muscle strain and cramps. Regarding the method of running for fitness, we recommend that you stick to it, and that you choose a place with good air and good ground to exercise. Swimming is a more whole-body exercise.

You should warm up before doing any exercise. This is very beneficial for doing the movements and can avoid strain or sprains. Running is the best exercise to warm up beforehand. But please note that you cannot swim directly after running, as this will cause great harm to your body because the pores of your skin are open and immediate contact with cold water will cause great harm to your body. After running, all the organs in the body are working. You can go swimming after the sweat on your body disappears, which will have a very good effect.

Running and swimming are both very healthy and effective ways to keep fit (bodybuilding is not discussed here). Their main advantages are that they improve cardiopulmonary function and exercise most of the muscles in the body. Running, especially jogging or moderate-speed running, has no requirements for venues or weather, is easy to practice, and has a lower probability of accidents than swimming. However, if you do too little upper limb exercise for a long time, it may make you look lean but not strong (unless you combine it with other strength training and pay attention to dietary supplements). Muscle endurance will increase rapidly but explosive power will increase less. Prone to injury (ankles, knees, waist, and rarely concussion to the brain).

Swimming takes a long time, from getting to the swimming pool (rivers, lakes, or seas) to taking a shower and changing clothes after leaving. It is difficult to participate without some free time. Outdoor swimming has strict requirements on weather conditions, is not easy to do continuously for a long time (related to water proficiency), and has a high probability of accidents. The advantages are coordinated development of the whole body. With long-term persistence, the inverted triangle shape can be easily formed (which may cause trouble for women), muscle endurance and explosive power can be developed in a balanced manner, and joints are not easily injured.

The above introduces in detail whether to run or swim first when doing fitness. I believe you should all understand these two exercise methods. We can do either one first in our lives, but we do not recommend that you try these two exercises at the same time. This can easily lead to physical exhaustion or cold symptoms. I hope you can pay attention to this.
