What is inverted skating?

Inline skating is a sport that many young people like nowadays. It is not only exciting but also fun, and can meet people's many needs. Of course, learning inline skating is a big problem for people, because the learning method of inline skating is difficult and takes people a lot of time. Next, let us learn about the methods and techniques of inline skating. After mastering the methods and techniques, we can also skate better.

1. For in-line rear braking, both feet are parallel. Push the foot with the brake forward with the toes slightly upward and let the brake rub against the ground. The harder you press the brake against the ground, the faster you can stop. The skilled people can even stand on one leg. Remember to keep your center of gravity low and between your feet, not too far forward or too far back. ABT is actually no different from ordinary brakes, but ABT is easier to learn. You can brake by just stretching your foot forward.

2. Inner eight-character brake 1. Inner eight-character brake is suitable for long and gentle downhill. Since it takes a long time to brake, if T brake is used, the feet will easily become sore and numb. Therefore, it should be used to maintain a constant speed and avoid accelerating too fast. It can also be used for braking at a slower speed. Spread your legs and put them in an inward-facing position, bend your legs and squat down, lean your body slightly forward, raise your head and look straight ahead. Since your feet are turned inward, you will slide inwards. At this time, you can push your feet outwards hard to brake slowly. It takes practice to apply the braking force evenly to both feet. 2. Outward eight-character move Inward eight-character move puts the center of gravity at the back, while outer eight-character move puts it at the front. 3. Backward eight-character move/(direction of movement↓), the body leans forward, the toes are not leaning inward but the heels of both feet are facing inward, and the muscles on the outside of the thighs press down hard.

3. Tstop, one foot is dragging behind, | represents the free foot, represents your skating foot, and - is the direction of travel. It is to replace the function of the brake with a free-foot wheel. First, skate forward with one foot. Straighten the free back foot and place it vertically behind the skating foot, similar to a lunge. Place your center of gravity entirely on the skating foot. Keep your head up, chest out, and abdomen contracted. Keep your upper body upright. Keep the wheels of the back foot and front foot perpendicular and lightly touch the ground. You are still skating forward, but because the back foot is perpendicular to the direction of forward movement, the wheels rub against the ground and will slowly stop. Beginners should brake slowly. The distance from the beginning of braking to complete braking can be longer, about five or six meters. After braking, you can slowly increase the strength of the back foot to increase friction. The direction of the force applied by the back foot is downward and forward. Before braking, most of your center of gravity should be on your skating foot, and a small part on your free foot. The more you place your center of gravity on your free foot, the stronger the braking force will be, and it will be more difficult to maintain balance. The back foot is originally straight, but becomes bent after touching the ground. Both feet are bent, and the planes they form are perpendicular to each other. During the braking process, the whole body must remain still, with the calves and above being stationary relative to the skates.

When skating on the road and encountering a slightly steep downhill, the feet need to be bent in order to take into account stability and braking. Beginners often unconsciously turn into a "crab step" and draw an arc on the ground. When they brake, they finally turn into a backward skate or "turn around and around". This is mostly because too much weight is placed on the free foot or because the angle between the two feet is greater than ninety degrees, which involves leg strength issues. On the one hand, the skating foot must always keep moving straight, and most of the center of gravity should be placed on the skating foot. The free foot is only responsible for scraping the ground. Don't put the center of gravity on the free foot when you run out of strength, otherwise you will turn into a backward skate. As for losing balance, you need to practice slowly. First, lift your free foot up but don't let it touch the ground. Then practice the skater foot lunge, which is to bend your knees slightly and then stand up straight. Repeat this process. After you have practiced it steadily, slowly touch the ground with your free foot to feel the friction, so as to slowly increase the force of your free foot.

Learning reverse skating is a relatively long process, so people should not rush into it. Of course, there are certain methods and techniques to choose and buy skates. It's not without any basis. If you don't know much about skates, you can ask more experienced people for advice. Of course, you can also check the Internet. There are many methods, you can choose at will.
