Take a slightly squatting preparation position, look up at the incoming ball, bend your elbows and raise them naturally, and place your hands in front of your face. When touching the ball, both hands should be naturally opened into a hemispherical shape, with the fingers matching the ball, the wrists slightly tilted back, the thumbs facing each other, and the little fingers in front; when passing the ball, use the inner side of the thumb, the entire index finger, and the second and third knuckles of the middle finger to touch the ball. The ring finger and little finger should be on both sides of the ball to help control the direction of the ball. The elbows should be properly separated and hanging naturally. When the ball approaches your forehead, start pushing off the ground, extending your knees and arms, open your hands slightly, and actively meet the ball from in front of your face to the front and above. The hitting point should be kept about one ball away from the front and above the forehead, and the hitting position is generally below and behind the ball. Passing the ball mainly relies on the strength of the arm, coordinated with the strength of the lower limbs pushing off the ground, and the ball is passed by the rebound force generated by the fingers and wrists when the ball is pressed against the hand. After hitting the ball, the body's center of gravity moves forward with the hitting action, and the whole body is relaxed and in a ready posture, preparing for the next hitting action.

Finally, it's the serve. The key points of the front overhand serve are: facing the net, with your feet naturally apart, left foot in front, and holding the ball in front of your body with your left hand. Use your arms and palms to lift the ball upwards, throwing it steadily and vertically to the front and upper part of your right shoulder at a moderate height. While throwing the ball with the left hand, raise the right arm, bend the elbow and pull it back to shoulder level, and turn the upper body slightly to the right. Extend your arm to the highest point in front of and above your right shoulder, and hit the middle and back of the ball with your entire palm. When hitting the ball, open your fingers naturally to align with the ball, and quickly push your wrist to make the ball fly with upward spin. After hitting the ball, quickly return to the court as your center of gravity moves forward. The key is to pay attention to the hitting action, hitting point, hand shape and power.

Passing

Passing the ball is a technical action that is completed by using both hands (or one hand) at the chest and above, pushing off the ground, extending the arms, and using the bouncing power of the wrist and fingers. The main purpose of passing the ball is to pass the received ball to the rest of the players to attack or attack directly. Whether a team's offensive ability can be fully utilized depends largely on the team's passing level. In order to gain advantage at the net and make offensive tactics fast and changeable, the setter plays a core role.

It is a technical move that uses the rebound force of the incoming ball to hit the ball using the front of the forearms of both hands by pushing off the ground and raising the arms. In the game, the cushioning ball is mostly used for receiving serves, receiving spikes and receiving blocked balls. Serve

A player throws the ball himself and uses one hand to hit the ball into the opponent's court between two markers above the net. Serving is the beginning of the game and offense.
