How to quickly increase lung capacity

How to quickly increase lung capacity

Everyone should know that we humans breathe by absorbing oxygen into the lungs. The more active your lungs are, the more oxygen they can absorb. I believe that many friends who do not exercise regularly will experience shortness of breath and a feeling of insufficient air after brisk walking or excessive exercise all at once. So how can you quickly improve your lung capacity?

Take a deep breath. You can increase the amount of air your lungs can absorb in a short period of time, without a long-term investment in exercise or training. The trick is to breathe deeply and steadily.

Inhale, take a deep breath. You may want to fill your lungs to about 80%-85% capacity to give your body room to relax. You don't want to fill your lungs to full capacity if it means your muscles tighten up and you're uncomfortable.

Splash water in your face. Do this while you hold your breath. Scientists have figured out that splashing water on your face speeds up bradycardia, or slowing of the heart rate, or the first stage of the mammalian dive reflex.

Relax your muscles and hold your breath. Try meditating, or just closing your eyes. The less energy you expend, the longer your body will be able to maintain its breath.

Exhale slowly and repeat 3-4 times. Don't let your emptying out happen too quickly. Exhale as slowly and steadily as possible. Once you've performed one repetition, do the entire exercise from the beginning.

Physical exercise increases lung capacity. In the water. Exercising with water will add an element of resistance training to your regimen. Your body will work overtime to deliver enough oxygen into the blood, making for a great lung workout.

Through the above introduction, I believe everyone has a general understanding of how to quickly improve their lung capacity. In fact, it is not difficult to improve your lung capacity. You can just take slow, deep breaths outdoors where the air is fresh. In addition, persisting in physical exercise can also effectively improve our lung capacity.
