The movements of Pilates must be accurate, so pay special attention to the following aspects:

Correct posture:

Correct posture is about keeping the proper amount of strength in your abdomen and back so that your muscles can support your spine. Strong abdominal muscles form a "power zone" that supports the spine. When you correctly brace your abdomen and back and strengthen the other muscles, your entire body reaches a natural and ideal state. This posture will help the muscles to move properly.

Good breathing:

A good breathing method should be performed with the mind, body, and spirit, which can relieve the practitioner's physical and mental stress. The timing of breathing must be correct. Unlike our normal breathing, Pilates requires you to inhale when exerting force (when your abdomen is in a stretched state) and exhale when tightening your abdomen.

There is a special set of movements for Pilates, which need to be completed under the guidance of a coach, but you can also do some simple exercises at home:

Action 1: Lie on your back on the floor, relax your neck, and maintain the natural curvature of your spine. Inhale for 5 beats, and exhale slowly for 5 beats, while contracting your abdomen and raising your upper body.

Action 2: Lie on your back on the floor, contract your abdomen, and lift your feet off the ground. Your back needs to be as close to the ground as possible, while your neck should be relaxed. As you exhale, straighten your neck and lift your head off the ground, while lifting your knees and bringing them closer to your upper body.

Action 3: Lie face down. Push the top of your head forward and drop your shoulders. Contract your abdominal muscles and lift your belly button off the ground. You must maintain this position throughout the movement. Inhale and lift your head, arms and chest off the ground, and tighten your back muscles.

Exhale and then slowly let go. As you exhale, keep your upper torso still and lift your legs off the ground to a height where your back muscles are not overly tense.

Action 4: Support yourself with your hands on the ground and do a push-up. Tighten your abdomen and buttocks, keep your torso in a straight line, and stay still for 20 seconds. Gently move the center of your body up and down, lifting and lowering, and repeat 12 to 15 times.
