1. Various strenuous exercises

2. Walking, jogging, and aerobics

In recent years, American cardiologist Cooper proposed a concept that divides exercise methods into two categories: aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise. The former refers to easy exercise in which the muscles are not lacking in oxygen, while the latter refers to strenuous exercise that reaches a state of muscle lack of oxygen. The two have different meanings. The latter can improve muscle strength and endurance and help improve athletic performance. The former has been confirmed by scientific experiments and does help in the recovery and reversal of high blood lipids, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases that are prevalent in developed Western countries. Therefore, this health concept quickly became popular around the world once it was proposed. Our media also vigorously promotes aerobic exercise, especially "walking", making this simple and easy method benefit people all over the country. 3. Some entertainment and exercise methods

Sports such as badminton, table tennis, and croquet seem to be fun exercises that can relax patients physically and mentally, but these confrontational methods will inevitably make people restless and irritable, and their fitness effects on cancer patients are not as good as walking. Therefore, they are also only suitable as auxiliary exercise methods for cancer patients.

4. Tai Chi

As aerobic exercises such as walking are widely promoted, some people classify Tai Chi and Qigong as aerobic exercises, blurring the differences between Tai Chi, Qigong and walking.

How to do rehabilitation exercises after cancer surgery?

Appropriate whole-body activity is necessary for cancer patients after surgery, but it must be based on physical condition and varies from person to person.

1. If there are no contraindications after surgery, the patient should get out of bed and move around after 1 to 7 days, that is, early out of bed movement. The patient can be supported by family members to walk around the ward to promote the recovery of various body functions.

2. If the surgical trauma is severe and the patient has poor physical strength and cannot get out of bed, you can do limb exercises and turn over in bed.

3. If your body recovers well, you can gradually increase the amount of exercise and change the content of exercise, from walking, qigong, tai chi to gymnastics and even jogging.
