Common fitness mistakes

Common fitness mistakes

Fitness exercises have been loved by more and more people in recent years, but not many people know about the precautions to take when doing fitness. What are the methods of fitness? Let’s take a look at three fitness methods that are not suitable for persistence.

Fitness method 1: Walking backwards

Walking or running backwards can stimulate muscles that are not often moved and improve the body's balance. Therefore, many elderly people like to walk backwards during morning exercises.

Because the cardiovascular reserve capacity of the elderly is reduced, walking or running backwards will put a heavy strain on the cardiovascular system. At the same time, it will cause the neck to turn, resulting in compression of the carotid artery, narrowing of the lumen, reduced blood flow, reduced blood supply to the brain, cerebral hypoxia, and even sudden fainting when the neck is turned.

For the elderly, occasional backward walking will not harm their health, but it is not advisable to do it frequently.

Fitness method 2: Deep breathing

In recent years, scientific research and clinical observation have found that for patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease, excessive deep breathing can induce cardiovascular and cerebrovascular constriction, which is fatal. Myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage and other accidents are directly or indirectly related to deep breathing.

Therefore, experts recommend that patients who have already developed arteriosclerosis, especially those with hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, should not perform deep breathing exercises.

Fitness method three: drink salt water

Physiological research shows that physiological activities such as breathing and sweating continue during sleep and consume a lot of water. When you wake up in the morning, your blood is in a concentrated state. Drinking salt water will aggravate hypertonic dehydration and make you feel dry mouth.

At the same time, early morning is the first peak of blood pressure in the human body. Drinking salt water will make blood pressure rise higher, which is not good for health.
