How it works: Sit-ups exercise a large area of ​​the abdominal muscles while forcing the hip flexors to contract and tighten, which helps correct posture and reduce fat accumulation in the buttocks caused by lack of exercise.

Misunderstanding B - Sit-down Dumbbell Press

It has always been considered the most effective way to exercise chest muscles, but Professor Hagerman said: "In fact, it exercises a small part of the chest muscles. It is useless for your chest muscles, and it can only make you give others a strong bear hug from time to time. The shoulder joints are not stretched at all."

Place your hands on the pedals, stretch your shoulders, put your toes on the ground, spread your feet apart, and keep your body in a straight line. Bend your elbows and bring your chest toward the pedal until your shoulders are level with your elbows. Return to the starting position and repeat 8-10 times. (If that's too difficult, try a taller pedal.)
