The most suitable time for cardiovascular patients to exercise

People often say that if you are sick, you must rest well so that you can recover. Therefore, many people, once they find that they are ill, will lie in bed or sit at home to rest. This is especially true for cardiovascular patients, because most of those suffering from this disease are middle-aged and elderly people, so their family members will ask them to do so. But this is actually wrong. Appropriate exercise can be helpful for cardiovascular disease. So today let’s talk about the appropriate exercise time and method for cardiovascular patients.

1. Around 10 am or 3 pm is the best time for patients with coronary heart disease to exercise.

2. Between 3 and 8 in the morning is a dangerous period for heart disease in the elderly. Exercising at this time can easily lead to stroke and sudden death, so exercising during this period should be prohibited.

3. Exercise is prohibited during angina pectoris or myocardial infarction and when the myocardial infarction lesions have not been completely controlled.

4. Patients with coronary heart disease should exercise appropriately according to their own conditions. The intensity of exercise should be increased gradually from low to high, and should be persistent. Do not do sudden strenuous exercise.

5. Patients can perform low-to-moderate intensity exercises, including aerobic exercises such as walking, jogging, and Tai Chi. During exercise, the heart rate must be controlled within 130 beats per minute.

6. It is recommended to choose simple and gentle aerobic exercises such as walking, dancing, swimming, and Tai Chi; the amount of exercise should be increased gradually from small to large. If you experience symptoms such as dizziness, headache, palpitations, nausea, etc. during exercise, you should stop immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.

7. If you go out on a foggy day, try to wear a mask. In addition, you should eat more foods rich in vitamin C and vitamin E, such as lemons, kiwis, green peppers, cabbage, milk, eggs, etc., to strengthen your physical fitness and prevent diseases.

The above is a brief introduction to the appropriate exercise time and method for cardiovascular patients. I believe it will be helpful to patients. Cardiovascular patients can perform appropriate exercise, but there are skills in exercise. One is the time and the other is the method of exercise. Only exercise done according to the above requirements will be helpful.
