Many people are skeptical about whether walking backwards is good for lumbar disc herniation. In fact, it does have certain benefits. We all know that lumbar disc herniation is caused by abnormalities in the muscles of the waist and back tissues. When walking backwards, the waist needs to be straightened, which can effectively alleviate the problem of lumbar disc herniation. Walking backwards can only exercise the waist and back muscles, but it has no therapeutic effect. There are currently three methods for treating this disease: First, conservative treatment, which is suitable for patients who have just developed the disease and whose nerves are not compressed, can relieve the symptoms, but this treatment cannot cure it! Second, minimally invasive interventional treatment; Third, traditional surgery. The latter two are radical cures, and different treatment methods are adopted according to the patient's condition! 4. Conservative treatment: including bed rest, massage, medication, traction, manipulation, acupuncture and moxibustion, etc., suitable for initial or mild cases. The purpose of the treatment is to promote the reduction of the protruding part, improve local blood circulation, increase the intervertebral space to reduce the compression and stimulation of the nerve roots, eliminate the edema and inflammation caused by the protrusion compressing the nerves, and temporarily relieve the symptoms. However, this treatment is basically unable to completely eliminate and reduce the protruding intervertebral disc. 5. Minimally invasive surgical treatment: Entering the 21st century, minimally invasive interventional treatment technology has made rapid progress based on detailed research on anatomy, biochemistry, biomechanics and imaging by experts and scholars at home and abroad. Compared with traditional surgical methods, minimally invasive surgical treatment technology has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery, no destruction of normal functions within the spinal canal, and no impact on the biomechanical stability of the spine. Such as: percutaneous laser disc vaporization decompression, ozone minimally invasive interventional therapy, collagenase biolysis, etc. Minimally invasive surgical treatment has become a trend in the development of modern medicine. 6. Lumbar disc herniation is caused by lumbar disc herniation, when the nucleus pulposus breaks through the strained and ruptured annulus fibrosus and pathological changes occur. Lumbar disc herniation is caused by the destruction of the annulus fibrosus. If the protruding lumbar disc nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus compress the nerves, it will cause corresponding symptoms. You can try electrotherapy, acupuncture and other methods first. If the symptoms are not obvious, you need to go to the hospital for further examination. |
