Some doctors will tell patients with kidney disease to rest more, so many patients with kidney disease think that they are not suitable for exercise. This idea is wrong. People with kidney disease should exercise more, but they just need to choose the exercise method that suits them.

1. Physical exercise is often rejected by patients with kidney disease, who believe that if they suffer from kidney disease, they should rest and not overwork. In fact, proper physical exercise, such as Tai Chi, jogging, swimming, etc., can promote metabolism, help the body excrete toxins, and have very good effects on the prevention and treatment of kidney disease.

2. The positive effects of physical exercise on the kidneys are generally manifested in two aspects:

First, it promotes the enhancement of the kidney's excretion capacity. During exercise, the kidneys excrete more metabolic waste, such as urea, urine creatinine, etc. In order to maintain the stability of the body's internal environment, the kidneys must accelerate the excretion of lactic acid and fat metabolites to ensure athletic ability.

Second, enhance the kidney's ability to reabsorb. When you exercise, your perspiration increases and the water content in your body decreases. In order to retain water and salt, your kidneys increase the reabsorption of these substances.

Nephritis is divided into two categories: acute and chronic. Acute patients can start appropriate activities when their symptoms stabilize and improve. Long-term bed rest or minimal activity will cause the functions of organs throughout the body to decline and further weaken your resistance, so simply resting is not a good solution.

However, one thing that should be paid special attention to is that kidney patients should not do strenuous exercise within one year after the disease is basically cured, so as to avoid recurrence of kidney disease due to fatigue. For patients with kidney disease, physical exercise should mainly include jogging, walking, and Tai Chi. Patients with kidney disease must exercise, but the amount of exercise must be controlled under the guidance of a doctor. Only in this way can it be beneficial to the early recovery of kidney disease.
