How to prevent injuries during sports?

Some athletes will shed tears on the sports field while sweating, because athletes will inevitably suffer some sports injuries during exercise. Although lighter injuries will affect the athletes' performance, they can still persist in exercise; while more serious sports injuries will often cause athletes to end their sports careers prematurely, and they can only shed tears of regret on the sports field. Therefore, athletes must pay attention to preventing sports injuries in their daily training.

1. The training method should be reasonable. You need to master the correct training methods and sports techniques to increase the amount of exercise scientifically. For people of different genders, ages, levels and health conditions, the amount of exercise during training should be arranged according to the individual and step by step.

2. Prepare thoroughly. In actual work, we found that many sports injuries were caused by insufficient warm-up exercises. Therefore, it is necessary to do warm-up exercises before training.

3. Pay attention to interval relaxation. During training, it is very important to relax between sets after each set of exercise in order to eliminate muscle fatigue more quickly and prevent sports injuries caused by local excessive burden. On the one hand, this can promote blood circulation and improve blood supply. On the other hand, it can deepen the inhibition of fatigued nerve cells in the active limbs and allow them to rest, which is of positive significance for eliminating fatigue and preventing sports injuries.

4. Prevent local excessive burden. Excessive concentration of exercise during training will cause local burden on the body and cause sports injuries. For example, too much half-squat and jump movement at the knee joint can easily cause patella injury; too much duck step practice can cause damage to the medial collateral ligament and meniscus of the knee. Therefore, monotonous and one-sided training methods should be avoided during training to prevent excessive local burden.

5. Strengthen muscle strength exercises in vulnerable areas. According to statistics, in sports practice, sports injuries to soft tissues such as muscles and ligaments are the most common. Therefore, strengthening muscle strength exercises in vulnerable areas is of great significance in preventing injuries.

Although sports injuries are inevitable, if you pay more attention during training, you can minimize the injuries and extend the athlete's sports life. Even after retirement, the pain caused by physical injuries will be less for the athletes. Therefore, athletes must pay attention to the above five points during training.
