Once you stop exercising, the body's demand for energy decreases, but your appetite does not decrease synchronously. You eat more and move less, so you will naturally gain weight.

2. Calorie consumption is greatly reduced. When muscles maintain regular training, the basal calories required will increase. When they stop training, the calories consumed will be directly zero, and the basal metabolic rate will decrease accordingly.

3. The visual impact of weight gain among fitness enthusiasts is much higher than that of ordinary people. When exercising, muscles will increase and fat will decrease. Once you stop exercising, the ratio of internal fat and muscle has changed, and the fat that was originally lost will come back. Even if you don't gain weight, you will look fatter than when you have muscles.

Nutritional adjustment during fitness
