Make the spirometry scale as accurately as possible so that the measured data will be accurate. Find a drinking cup with a ruler, and pour 100ml of water into the plastic bottle at a time. Pour 100ml of water into the plastic bottle and make a mark on the horizontal surface of the bottle wall with an oil-based colored pen. After completing all this, lengthen the marks at 500ml, 1000ml and 1500ml to make it easier to read the data accurately when measuring. After this modification, the spirometry device no longer needs a catheter when measuring. It can be held more steadily and the step of inserting a catheter is omitted.
