How to practice Qigong

How to practice Qigong

As people's living standards gradually improve, they are no longer just pursuing material things. Many people pay great attention to the pursuit of spiritual and self-health. Especially for health care, people are becoming more and more aware of it. Whether it is in diet or in daily life and exercise, they cannot do without the concept of health care. Qigong is also a very good health-preserving exercise. So how to practice Qigong? What are the methods of practicing Qigong?

Practicing body breathing can be integrated into daily life or done at a separate time. If you do it at a special time, you can stand with your feet slightly wider than your shoulders and your body naturally relaxed; use reverse abdominal breathing, and tighten your lower abdomen when inhaling. Note that you should inhale your lower abdomen, not your stomach, and it is best to reduce the rise and fall of your chest; at the same time, imagine your body's pores opening, and the true energy of the universe entering through the pores, entering your body, and flowing into the lower dantian; take deep breaths, and when you can't inhale anymore, hold your breath for a while, and then exhale; when you exhale, imagine that the energy goes out of your pores and shoots through the sky.

If you combine practice with your daily life, then when you inhale, contract your lower abdomen and focus your attention on letting the air enter from the skin all over your body. When you exhale, let the air shoot through your pores to the horizon. Just focus on long breathing.

The exhalation of "body breathing" is equivalent to the function of exhausting air, which eliminates the negative energy in the body; and the inhalation process is equivalent to gathering energy, which brings the clear and positive energy of the universe into the body; and controlling the trajectory of energy from Dantian to pores and to the skin is equivalent to the process of "refining".

Combined with the methods of nourishing Qi, you can complete the introduction to Qigong and cure diseases and improve health.

If you have dedicated time to practicing body breathing, after finishing the practice, first focus your mind on the Upper Dantian (the intersection area in the brain between the eyebrows and one inch above the ears). After about 3 minutes, look at the Lower Dantian (in the abdominal cavity three inches below the navel), and then gently focus your mind on the Lower Dantian for at least 3 minutes. If time permits, there is no limit.

The above is an introduction on how to practice Qigong. In fact, the practice methods of Qigong are generated from the depth of the creator's understanding and exploration of life. The higher the level of the skill, the simpler it will be. The Qigong practice method introduced above requires people to comprehend and practice it carefully in order to play the role of strengthening the body, eliminating evil, curing diseases and improving health. It is especially suitable for middle-aged and elderly friends.
