Mehta, a personal fitness trainer for an American celebrity, said that before doing physical fitness, one must first complete spiritual "fitness".

When it comes to losing weight and keeping fit, people usually think of exercising to burn fat and build muscle. People often forget that a healthy body also includes and can lead to a healthy spirit and mind. Most fitness trainers only improve your body through exercise. However, American celebrity fitness trainer Vrinda J Mehta has a different approach. In her fitness center "Vibrations: Wellness Zone", in addition to allowing customers to exercise physically, Mehta pays more attention to mental health.

"In my years of working out and practicing yoga, I've learned a handstand that if you can improve your mental strength, then you can change your body more effectively," explains Mehta, who recently launched a fitness DVD called "I Can Make You Healthy," a combination of fitness methods she has developed to strengthen people's mental "muscles."

“I tell people who come to me for weight loss tips that if they don’t have a positive outlook on their image, then they’re not going to see results,” she said. “We work on the mind first, then the body.”

Mehta also had obesity problems when she was a child. When she was 13 years old, she successfully lost weight from 80 kg to 50 kg. "If you have a bad body image, it can be very damaging," she explained. "I worked really hard to lose weight and my whole family encouraged me."

Mehta’s comprehensive approach to fitness incorporates diet, advice, yoga, aerobics and weight loss classes. In fact, Mehta's method was already advocated by our ancestors in ancient times. The theory of Ayurvedic physicians claims that the human body is composed of three doshas (energy), and Ashtanga Yoga is an exercise to balance various doshas. “We encourage a lot of our guests to release their stress,” Mehta said. “Through yoga, you can find a better emotional balance. To stay in top form, it’s good to take a vacation once a month. It’s like mental oxygen.”
