The top ten unspoken rules in the gym, be sure to follow

Fitness is also a social life and requires interacting with people. Friends who go to the gym to work out must remember the gym etiquette and abide by the "unspoken rules" of the gym.

1) Return weightlifting equipment to its original position promptly

Whenever you are done using something, be sure to put it back carefully. Maybe because of your momentary carelessness, it will cause a lot of inconvenience to others.

2) Don’t occupy anything

The gym is a public place and all equipment is shared. While you train another muscle group, you can let someone else use the equipment you're not using.

3) Wipe off the sweat on the equipment

If you sweat profusely during exercise and the fitness equipment is covered with your sweat, please wipe the sweat clean with the disinfectant provided by the gym. Before using it, you can also put a towel you brought with you to avoid direct contact between your body and the machine.

4) Don’t make too much noise when exercising

Keep the gym clean and do not drop equipment on the ground after use. This will affect other people and cause damage to the equipment! Also, try to keep the shouting to a minimum during training. Of course, a little noise is normal when doing strenuous weightlifting exercises.

5) Don’t put pressure on people who are exercising

If someone else is exercising on the machine you want to use and it's clear that they're not done yet, it's best to wait to the side.

6) Learn to limit yourself

Considering people's tolerance, it is best for a person to exercise on one type of fitness equipment for only 20 to 30 minutes, and try not to exceed this time limit. After proper exercise, you should take a rest so that your body can recover.

7) Give a helping hand to those in need

Loving to help others is a virtue, but you should be careful in occasions like this where professionals gather.

8) Don’t leave any trash behind

When leaving your exercise area, leave it clean and don't leave any food packaging, water bottles, tissues or other items behind.

9) Keep your body odor fresh

It's best to arm yourself with deodorant before you start exercising, but don't cover yourself in cologne.

10) Don’t use bad words

As in any public setting, please respect those around you and avoid using foul language or insulting those who are less fitness savvy.
