Celestron F6.3 defocused / corrected mirror
This defocused / field correction lens accessory can be used on the 5 -, 8 -, 9.25 -, 11 -, and 14 - inch Schmidt - card seglin telescopes. This flexible accessory allows the telescope to have two focal ratios without sacrificing image quality. This defocused / corrected mirror can make the coke ratio of C5, C6, c8, c9.25 f / 6.3 and C14 f / 7.
Use this defocused mirror to increase the field of view and reduce exposure time in astrophotography.
Celestron did not provide the f / 6.3 Schmidt card seglin telescope, because such a design is impossible, there will be a large central occlusion and resulting in a decrease in contrast. This f / 6.3 defocused / corrected mirror is 4 - piece design with full surface coating.
Using this defocusing lens, it performs very well both visually and photographically.
