Where is the deltoid muscle?

Many sports stars have very obvious deltoid muscles. Having deltoid muscles not only shows that you are strong and healthy, but also attracts the attention of the opposite sex and gives outsiders a sense of power. The deltoid muscle exists in the human body and its main function is to help stretch the shoulder joint. Most people can develop their deltoid muscles through exercise, but they must pay attention to safety during exercise.

Many men like to go to the gym to participate in some specific exercises, and the purpose of these exercises is mainly to be able to train the deltoid muscles. Generally, actions such as lifting dumbbells can very effectively help train the deltoid muscles.

The powerful deltoid muscle surrounds the shoulder and connects three bones - the scapula, clavicle, and humerus. Most shoulder and upper arm movements require the deltoid muscles, which strengthen the shoulder and allow the arm to move in many directions. Sports that require strong deltoid strength include basketball and boxing, and athletes have more developed deltoids on average than the average person.

The deltoid muscle is located in the shoulder and is triangular in shape. It originates from the lateral 1/3 of the clavicle, the lateral edge of the acromion, the inferior lip of the scapular spine and the infraspinatus fascia. The muscle bundles gradually converge outward and downward and end at the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. The upper end of the humerus is covered by the deltoid muscle, making the shoulder joint round and bulging. If the shoulder joint is dislocated downward or the deltoid muscle is paralyzed and atrophied, the "square shoulder" sign may form. The deltoid muscle is one of the sites for intramuscular injections. It mainly abducts the shoulder joint. The contraction of the anterior muscle fibers can flex the shoulder joint forward and slightly rotate it inward; the contraction of the posterior muscle fibers can extend the shoulder joint backward and slightly rotate it outward.

A perfect body shape is the goal of every beauty lover, but if we want a very good body shape, we still need to exercise more and try to make our whole body move. This will fully help exercise every muscle line of the body and shape a very perfect body shape.
