Fancy bike

Fancy cycling is a sport that involves fancy riding techniques. It is very popular among young people. Have you ever seen someone riding a fancy cycling? There are many technical essentials to figure cyclist that need to be mastered. The first and most important thing for people who want to learn this sport is to master the technique of holding the bike. It may be a little difficult at the beginning, but you will become more proficient if you persist.

Figure cycling can be very difficult for some beginners, and some basic techniques cannot be mastered. Now figure cycling has become very popular among young people. Let's take a look at the following introduction to some technical techniques of this sport.

Action essentials:

First, make the pedals level (the front and rear pedals are at the same height), brake the front and rear brakes, and jump immediately after getting on the bike (jump with both the front and rear wheels off the ground, with the back foot hooked on the pedals. It is best to wear cloth shoes with horizontal stripes. Keep your hands straight and don't pull the handlebars). Get off if you lose your balance, then stand up again and continue jumping. Use your feeling to find the center of gravity while jumping, until you can jump up both the front and rear wheels and get the center of gravity right. Do this for a week, practice half an hour every day, and you will be able to stop the bike in place.

Suggestion: It is best to use a mountain bike with as long handlebars as possible. When fixing the bike, if your left foot is the front foot, move the front wheel slightly to the right (right foot to the left).

Note: When practicing, do not stop the car while driving. You must stop the car to practice. The effect of practicing while driving will be greatly reduced.

1. Bunny Hop

The simplest way to practice standing still is to learn how to stand still. This seems incredible to beginners. Cyclists can stand still at will, and can even hold on until they run out of energy. In the eyes of ordinary people, it is as easy as standing on the ground. In fact, as long as you practice more and master the balancing skills of a bicycle, you can learn to ride a bicycle quickly.

2. Fixed rear wheel, forward stepping and jumping, long jump

(Backwheelhop, Backwheelhop forward, Backwheelhop Gap Jump)

The front heel is under the crank

To do rear wheel movements you must first have a good rear brake, the brake handle must be sensitive, you can completely brake the rear wheel with a single finger, and the rest of your fingers are used to hold the handlebars tightly. The position of your feet is important; place your dominant foot as your front foot, with the heel below the crank. Beginners can wear outdoor and table tennis shoes with soft soles. Shoes that are too hard are not conducive to foot feeling and control. When lifting the front wheel to do the rear wheel movement, the rear wheel should be under the body, and the rear axle position will move forward accordingly. It is easier for some beginners to do the backward jump movement. Then you can start fixed-point jumping and try to jump forward.

You can skate with the front wheel first or fix the front wheel and then transfer your center of gravity to the rear wheel. When you slide forward slowly and brake the front brake, the rear wheel will lift up. At the moment the rear wheel falls, brake the rear brake and shift your center of gravity to the rear wheel and start to jump slightly (you can jump backwards and experience this feeling). When you pull up the handlebars with the bike stationary, you should immediately start making small jumps. It's a little difficult at first, but with more practice you can start making a few jumps. At this time, it should be noted that the rear wheel should be under the body, as should the rear axle, rather than behind the body. Remember that the lower the front wheel is, the harder it is to maintain the rear wheel hop posture with the front wheel lifted.

1. Hop forward

The key to forward jumping is to maintain balance, foot movement and brake control. When jumping, you should step on the pedal lightly and release the brake instantly at the same time, but you must return to the brake state when landing. Your feet should remain flexible and the heel of your front foot should be lower than the end of the crank. The speed ratio should be adjusted to medium to slow speed. If it is too low, the car may not jump up. Keep your feet on the pedals and keep the bike under control at all times, pulling the handlebars slightly back as the rear wheel pedals forward.

2. Hop forward off an edge

You can start by practicing going down the stairs on lower curbs, low walls, etc., and then try higher heights when you are 100% confident. First apply the above-mentioned stepping technique until the rear wheel gradually approaches the edge of the step and experience the state of the front wheel in the air. Then do another step jump. Land on the rear wheels first, but not too steeply to avoid tipping over. Use your hands and legs to absorb the impact when you land, and keep your center of gravity over the center of the bike so that the rims are protected.

Do you all have a better understanding of the technical essentials of figure skating? The most important thing in learning figure skating is persistence. If you practice more, you will master these skills very well one day, especially the skill of keeping the bike in place at the beginning. If you can practice for half an hour every day, you will be able to master the skills quickly.
