Can a one year old baby go swimming?

A few days ago, my sister came to visit me and brought my nephew, a very cute baby. Then, on such a hot day, there was nowhere to go, so I took my sister and her family to the swimming pool, because my sister and I both love swimming. But when we got there, we realized, what should we do with the baby? Then someone recommended a baby swimming pool to me.

Swimming is very beneficial for infants and young children because swimming in warm water can promote blood circulation, increase lung capacity, promote the excretion of meconium, reduce jaundice, and improve immunity. When infants and young children swim, the combined effects of multiple external factors such as water temperature, buoyancy and wave impact cause a series of benign reactions in the infant's skin, joints, nervous system and endocrine system, which intensifies the stimulation of the infant's various sensory systems and promotes the rapid transmission of comprehensive information such as kinesthetic sense, taste, hearing, touch and balance, thereby improving reaction ability and promoting the coordinated cooperation of various organs to complete various movements. Infants and young children are too young to communicate with adults only through body movements, so the ability to swim indicates that their body and limbs are well developed. In addition, during the swimming process, the infant will communicate with his parents and coach. He will smile when he is happy and may frown when he is uncomfortable.

Swimming is not just a sport, it can also help build a good parent-child relationship. When parents are around, children will also feel psychologically supported. When infants and young children swim in a safe environment, their performance will naturally improve, but the basic swimming skills can be learned when the child is 6 months old. When children understand the skills, study hard, and finally complete the actions, their ability to acquire knowledge can be improved.

It is said that taking children swimming is good, but you also have to choose the right place. If the child is too young, you must not choose an ordinary swimming pool, because the sanitary environment of an ordinary swimming pool is not safe, and children have low resistance. Therefore, if you want to take your child swimming, you must choose a professional baby swimming pool.
