Which is better in life, Pilates or yoga?

In today's life, many of our young female friends like to do sports in their spare time after work to help themselves shape a more beautiful body. I believe many people have heard of yoga, but few have heard of Pilates, a sport similar to yoga. Today, I will analyze the differences between these two sports with female friends who love sports.

Pilates training method is a kind of exercise and fitness system created and promoted by Joseph Pilates of Germany in 1926 - a static fitness exercise. Westerners have always focused on the training of body muscles and physiological functions, such as training of the waist, abdomen, back, chest, buttocks and other parts, while Easterners focus on breathing and mind concentration training, such as yoga and Tai Chi. Pilates absorbs Eastern and Western cultures and integrates relevant physiological and psychological research results. Initially, Pilates was only used in two major areas: professional dance groups for muscle training and medical rehabilitation institutions for the recovery of body function and muscle strength of patients after recovery.

The word yoga comes from Sanskrit in India and has the same pronunciation, meaning "consistency", "combination" or "harmony". Yoga is a philosophical system and a system of exercise guided by it that helps people realize their full potential by raising their consciousness. Yoga postures are an ancient and easy-to-master method to improve people's physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual abilities. It is a form of exercise that achieves harmony between body, mind and spirit. The ancient Indians believed that people could achieve unity between man and nature, and they integrated different yoga practices into their daily lives and adhered to them unswervingly: practising yoga with the eyes, chanting Sanskrit in the ears, reflecting on oneself, and keeping one's promises in the heart, morality, selfless movements, a rational brain, religious responsibility, no desires, meditation, and the nature and creation of the universe.

I don’t know if you understand the above analysis. I hope that friends who want to learn will take this opportunity to read carefully and find the one that suits them best. In fact, there is no need to force it too much. Every kind of sport has its many benefits, and we should all like it. Active exercise is a way to live up to life. Finally, I hope everyone is healthy and happy.
