Is walking an aerobic exercise?

Do you know the difference between aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise? In fact, aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise are very easy to identify. Useful exercise is to consume a certain amount of physical strength or other factors, but everyone has questions, is walking an aerobic exercise? We have done the following research on this issue. Follow the editor to take a look at the situation of aerobic exercise. Everyone should study hard.

Aerobic exercise refers to long-term exercise (endurance exercise) that fully and effectively stimulates the heart (circulatory system) and lungs (respiratory system), thereby improving heart and lung function. This allows all tissues and organs in the body to receive a good supply of oxygen and nutrients, maintaining optimal functional conditions. Therefore, aerobic exercise refers to long-term (more than 15 minutes, preferably 30-60 minutes): jogging, swimming, cycling, walking, running in place, aerobics, etc. And static training, weightlifting or fitness equipment, sprinting and other exercises are called anaerobic exercise. Although they can enhance muscle and explosive power, they are not as effective as aerobic exercise because they cannot effectively stimulate the heart and lungs.

The ATP energy stored in the human body can only last for 15 seconds. It is all used up after running 100 meters. When running 200 meters, the remaining 100 meters must be quickly synthesized from blood sugar in an anaerobic state to provide energy for ATP, a byproduct of which is lactic acid. Sports such as running 200 meters or 400 meters, 100 meters, swimming, tennis, and football use the energy provided by the anaerobic decomposition of blood sugar, so a large amount of lactic acid accumulates in the exercising muscles. Lactic acid exercise causes muscle pain. The blood sugar required for exercise is provided by starch, so it also burns fat. Aerobic exercise is not beneficial for weight loss. The energy provided by the anaerobic decomposition of blood sugar (starch) can only last for 40 seconds. It is all used up after running 400 meters. When running 800 meters, the remaining 400 meters must be synthesized from blood sugar, blood fatty acids, and blood amino acids in an aerobic state to provide energy for ATP, and blood sugar is provided by the decomposition of starch.

Blood fatty acids are supplied by the decomposition of fat, and blood amino acids are supplied by the decomposition of protein. The whole process requires oxygen, and oxygen is also used to burn starch, fat and protein to produce heat energy. ATP supplies the heat required for segmented exercise. Segmented exercise aerobic exercise, running 800 meters or 1,500 meters, 200 and 400 meters, swimming, boxing and other exercises all require the use of oxygen to burn starch, fat and protein. Therefore, these types of exercise are aerobic exercise. The best aerobic exercise heart rate is generally 130 beats/minute. The first five minutes of exercise is to burn starch first. The longer the exercise lasts, the more fat will be burned. As long as it lasts for half an hour to 24 hours, 50% of the calories consumed are supplied by burning fat. Even if you diet for 24 hours, you can only burn starch and fat in the food by doing aerobic exercise. Burning accumulated fat in the body is still not beneficial for weight loss; only when you diet for 24 hours and do 24 hours of aerobic exercise will you have a chance to burn body fat.

Whether it is aerobic exercise or anaerobic exercise, in fact, the editor believes that as long as it is exercise, it has certain benefits. There is no need to distinguish between aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise. The important thing is that everyone should stick to the road of exercise and not fish for three days and dry the net for two days. At the same time, everyone should drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables, and develop good living habits.
