What are the differences between Sanda and Wushu?

Sanda and martial arts are both a kind of fitness. Sanda and martial arts are also Chinese martial arts. Now Chinese martial arts will not be lost. Many parents will send their children to learn martial arts. In order to make their children strong and healthy, this is also to prevent Chinese martial arts from being lost. When practicing martial arts, many children will choose Sanda or martial arts. In fact, Sanda is also a kind of martial arts, but Sanda is more difficult to practice than martial arts. Let's take a look at the differences between Sanda and martial arts.

Modern Sanda is neither a Western boxing sport nor a manifestation of traditional Chinese martial arts. Judging from the performance and technical style of Sanda athletes on the stage, their attack and defense methods are fragmented; their overall performance is separated from their limbs, and their attack and defense methods composed of their inner spirit, intention, Qi, body movements, footwork and techniques are not unified.

The so-called degree of hardness and softness in the use of force is, at best, similar to the level of "Eight is Freehand" as mentioned by the predecessors, that is, more hardness and less softness, and an imbalance of yin and yang in the body.

In short, due to the incomplete theoretical system of Sanda, the technical purpose of practicing kung fu is not clearly reflected. Although it has absorbed various external techniques of fighting, grappling, and boxing, it has not been "assimilated and unified" within the bodies of Sanda athletes. There are no definite rules and regulations, and any offensive and defensive methods are entirely based on the subjective wishes and imagination of coaches and athletes. Therefore, when using it, all aspects of the body literally appear to be "scattered".

Different theoretical systems: Traditional Chinese boxing is the crystallization of Chinese national culture in martial arts and its theory is based on traditional Chinese culture. Specifically: using the theories of the Book of Changes to explain the principles, methods, techniques, and skills of boxing, and establishing the laws, rules, and laws for practicing and applying boxing; further using the theories of the Tao Te Ching as theoretical classics to guide and practice the art of "boxing"; using a series of Chinese medicine theories headed by the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine to understand and explain the relationship between boxing techniques, skills, and various aspects of the human body during boxing practice, and to explain the methods, effects, and biochemical wisdom of boxing in strengthening the body and increasing wisdom; using the theories of the Art of War to guide the strategic and tactical principles of boxing attack and defense; using the theories of various schools of thought, including Chinese Buddhist theories, to guide the practice and application of traditional boxing skills. Therefore, it can be said that traditional Chinese martial arts is a profound and extensive discipline with extensive content of theory, methods, skills and abilities. Therefore, to practice martial arts, one must understand the theory and know the methods. By practicing according to the methods, one can acquire the skills, and by applying the skills, one can demonstrate one's skills.

There is a big difference between Sanda and martial arts. If you know what Sanda and martial arts are, then it is recommended that you learn more about this aspect. If you want your children to learn Sanda and martial arts, you must first let your children understand them clearly. If you want your children to strengthen their bodies, it is best to choose according to their needs and their preferences, so that their physical activities can better strengthen their bodies.
