Basketball skills

As people's quality of life continues to improve, people's living standards are also constantly improving, and people's pace of life is also constantly accelerating. It is precisely because of this situation that people's requirements for their bodies are also constantly increasing, and people will think of certain ways to solve them, and playing basketball is one of them. But how many people know the skills of playing basketball?

As for this kind of basketball skills, in fact, different people play differently, so you don’t need to worry about your own skills. The following is some information about this kind of basketball skills, and I hope everyone can make good use of it.

Basic skills of dribbling skills:

When dribbling, the center of gravity should be low and stable, the dribbling height should be below the waist, and you should watch the ball with your peripheral vision to prevent the ball from hitting your feet. You must be proficient in dribbling with both hands crossed, dribbling the ball with your palms facing down, and not turning your wrists over. A good dribbling technique should be that the ball seems to be "stuck" to your body, and it follows you instead of you chasing the ball. You can use bamboo poles as people to practice dribbling.

2 Dribbling skills: change of direction dribbling:

Change of direction dribbling is a commonly used technique for dribbling and is also a practical technique for dribbling. That is, quickly change direction while dribbling to catch the opponent off guard. Some players can even knock the opponent down, so that they can easily pass him. Pay attention to practicing dribbling between the legs, dribbling behind the back and cross dribbling, as these are essential skills for completing change of direction dribbling. When dribbling with a change of direction, you should lower your body, increase your dribbling speed, and try to find a friend to practice with.

Passing Techniques

1 Basic posture of passing skills:

When passing the ball, place both hands in front of your chest with your five fingers naturally spread apart, palms facing outward to support the ball, wrists bent back, legs naturally separated, shoulder-width apart or in a lunge stance one in front and the other behind, center of gravity stable, eyes looking straight ahead (it is best to learn to keep an eye on all directions).

2. Direction and strength of passing skills:

When passing the ball, directionality is important. This seems simple, but it is not. After seeing the position of your teammate, sometimes you pass the ball in his direction but it may not reach the right spot or be intercepted by the opponent. This is because most players are constantly moving during the game and cannot pass the ball straight. The ball should be in an arc, so you can judge the direction of the players' advance in advance and pass the ball ahead. In addition, do not use too much force or too little force when passing the ball. Passing too hard or too fast will make it more difficult for teammates to receive the ball and may lead to the ball being lost. Passing too short or too slowly may make it easy for the opponent to steal the ball.

Shooting Tips

Basic shooting techniques.

Before shooting, you should adjust your posture, with the right hand as the main hand and the left hand as the auxiliary hand when holding the ball (the opposite is true for people who are used to using their left hand). Hold your right palm in a good position and let your five fingers spread apart naturally. The armpit, inner side of the elbow, back of the right hand and the junction of the forearm should be at right angles or close to right angles. Place your left hand on the side of the basketball with a little force to ensure that the basketball is stable. Keep your upper body straight, don't shrug your shoulders, and place your feet naturally on the ground, with the distance between your feet being the same as that of your shoulders.

Shooting technique: three-step layup.

Before making a layup, you should lower your center of gravity, do not dribble above your waist, keep your body steady, and keep your upper body straight. While running, lean your body forward as much as possible, and hit the basketball with your palms facing down without turning your wrists. When you jump up in the third step, use your wrist to naturally push the ball out as gently as possible to allow the basketball room to maneuver. This way the shooting percentage is higher. Many beginners often fail in the last step of shooting, either they use too much force and the ball hits the backboard and flies away, or they lack strength and the ball just touches the net or even misses the basket. The basis of the three-step layup is to practice the basic shooting skills, especially shooting under the basket. When pitching, use even and gentle force, and keep your wrist flexible.

3. Shooting skills: shooting strength and arc.

When pitching, you should also pay attention to the force with which your right hand pushes the ball forward and the arc of the ball. Generally, for right-handed players, the strength of the shot should be determined according to the distance between you and the basket. When shooting, the ball should be flicked by the palm of the hand to make the basketball spin a little in the air, so that the hit rate will be higher. After shooting the ball, the right arm should be straightened. The arc of the basketball should be higher, which can increase the hit rate, that is, try to shoot the ball as high as possible.

Through the above understanding and introduction, I believe everyone can have a certain understanding of this basketball playing technique. At the same time, I also hope that the above knowledge can be helpful to everyone. At the same time, I also hope that everyone can play more basketball in daily life and develop a good habit of going to bed early and getting up early. This will be best for your health.
