What are some exercises without equipment?

Many people want to exercise, but they don’t know how to do it because there are no exercise equipment around them. When we don’t have any exercise equipment around us, we can still achieve the purpose of exercise through some traditional exercise methods. For example, if you want to exercise your abdominal muscles, you can do sit-ups. If you want to exercise your arm strength, you can do pull-ups or push-ups. Here are some methods of exercising without equipment.

Side Plank, with arms bent and elbows directly under shoulders, supporting body in a straight line. Lift your upper body up until your spine is parallel to the ground, while simultaneously lifting your other arm and leg up. Tighten your abdominal muscles, use the strength of your waist and abdomen to maintain your body balance, and hold on as long as possible. Then switch to the other side.

Jackknife exercise method: lie flat on the mat, stretch your arms above your head and stretch your legs. Keep your hands and feet just off the ground. Lift your arms and legs up simultaneously and bring them together over your stomach. Slowly lower yourself down, straighten your arms and legs back to the starting position and repeat.

Do sit-ups with your fists clasped, lie flat on your back, bend your legs, and place your feet flat on the mat. Put your fists together and extend them toward the top of your head. Tighten your abs and lift your upper body upward, keeping your arms still. Pause when you reach the highest point, then slowly lower your upper body to the starting position, and repeat.

Turn around and ride the bike, sit on the mat, turn 45 degrees to the side, and lift your feet off the ground. As shown in the picture, turn to the left, with the right leg slightly bent than the left leg, just like pedaling a bicycle. , turn your upper body to the right, straighten your right leg, and lift your left leg as if you were riding a bicycle. Neither leg touches the ground during the exercise. The upper body keeps rotating left and right, and the legs keep pedaling.

It should be noted that compared with training with equipment, training without equipment requires higher skills, so it is best to have professional guidance for this type of training. One advantage of exercising without equipment is that there are no special requirements for the venue, and exercise can be done anytime and anywhere. In addition, when exercising without equipment, you don’t have to worry about accidents caused by improper use of equipment.
