How to exercise effectively?

The purpose of most people exercising is to keep fit. However, some people have persisted in exercising for several months and still have not seen the desired results. What's going on? When encountering this situation, it can only mean one thing, that is, these people’s exercise effects have not reached the best, and ultimately no obvious results can be seen. So, how should we exercise to be effective and maximize efficiency?

1. Walk with big strides.

When taking a walk, pay attention to the following four points: 1. Keep your chest up and look straight ahead; 2. Swing your arms back and forth vigorously to fully exercise your upper limbs; 3. Take a slightly larger step; 4. Don't run too fast; the speed should be slightly higher than that of walking, so that you feel relaxed physically and mentally.

2. From west to east.

One of the main purposes of morning exercise is to bathe in the early morning sunshine and use the soft ultraviolet rays in the morning to synthesize vitamin D, thereby strengthening bones. Whether walking or running, it is best to go from west to east or from east to west, along the direction of the sun's orbit. People are in sync with the rhythm of nature, and the health-preserving effect is best.

3. Walk alone.

Talking during exercise can easily distract your mind and disrupt your own rhythm in order to match the pace of others, which will not achieve the desired health care effect. Especially for the elderly, whose cardiopulmonary function declines and whose respiratory system is not as good as that of young people, they can easily get tired and out of breath when talking while exercising. When exercising alone, you can focus on each step without distractions, which will lead to better fitness results.

There are many ways to exercise, but most people choose to walk or run, which is a very correct choice. However, the walks here are not random, but have certain rules and the speed must be increased. Whether you are running or walking, the most important thing is to act alone and not in groups, otherwise the effect will be greatly reduced.
